1.20.1914. The Blue Kingdom. Captain Arcand. “The Odious Queen.” OK! This is the last piece in my Sunless Skies set. Seriously, this game gave me 2 months of pleasure in it’s stories, and a lot of inspiration to create my own works. Thanks to everyone at Failbetter Games for this awesome game. It’s a great mortality reminder for all of us with the more fragile, imaginative minds. But not for Captain Zvezda. She betrayed her friend to continue living, and she allied with spiders to murder the Azure. The Kingdom of Silk is hers.

Scary to think the first 75% of the game is presumed to be in darkness or false light, and then upon re-entering the Blue Kingdom relay, one is bathed in the tyrannical light of a living Judgement and there is no escape from bureacracy and death. there is no civilization and recreation. only the unending conveyor belt of courthouses ending with Death’s Door for one’s soul to be consumed by an almighty light. all the while, the touring antedeceased are at the utter mercy of flying crocodile-peacocks, belligerent stalking-flame, and violent Spirifer armed to the teeth with gattling guns.
