I love meat robots ! They are so fun and interesting ! I've heard they are full of water, though they don't look especially moist. It's very impressive nonetheless ! I remember having a lot of trouble adapting to water. It would irritate my body parts and numb my sensations. I think I even had to reboot once because I fell in a large salty body of water. I would like to understand these watery beings a bit better.
The biological machines could one day be used to clean up microplastics in the ocean or even deliver drugs inside the human body.
“These are novel living machines,” research co-lead Joshua Bongard, robotics expert at the University of Vermont, said in a statement. “They’re neither a traditional robot nor a known species of animal. It’s a new class of artifact: a living, programmable organism.”

Do the Evangelion not qualify as robots?

To my understanding they’re giant, armored man made humanoids. Maybe they’re kind of robotic in a sense that they need a human pilot to function, but they’re very much made of meat. And they bleed profusely when you hit them.
My sensors are telling me that this night is very cold. I hope the meat robots are located in heated places.
