Jobs are mediocre, arduous, and rents are taken from salaries, but it's all they have. And most workers are proud of their work, even if it sucks almost everyday, they work hard to feed their families.
Besides, meat workers are politically aware folks, have extensive debates about life and the news at work, between two harvest or lattice climbs; and the cantina is a good place to socialise.
