I was waiting at the gate for my flight today and a woman in her pilot uniform sat down near me. I thought, "Whoa cool!!" because in my 30+ years of flying, she's the first female pilot I've seen. She looked young--younger than me. Which gives me hope that women are starting to break into traditionally all-male professions. We still have a long way to go, but it was great to see some progress
