Random pondering. Ever since I first started reading fanfiction (not going to get into how many years THAT has been) I've always read the term "miko" as "my-ko".
It wasn't until later on that after I'd studied Japanese that I realized it was "me-ko" and that I was mispronouncing it. Except I'd read it in my head for so long as "my-ko" that "me-ko" sounded off and always throws me out of the story when I try to read it that way.
Curious, are there any words or phrases that anyone started out reading wrong, but after finding out how it's actually supposed to be pronounced still continued to read it the incorrect way because it sounds better in your head?

So I watched glitch techs and just had to draw miko
The thing I love about Glitch Techs more than anything else is how they defy tropes. For example
In Age Of Hinobi, Fives grandparents are so supportive of Five and his gaming. Even when Five says that he doesn't need to go, his grandparents still insist that he goes to the tournament.
In Collection Quest, Miko and Five did not try to steal Bergy XP points to get the shoes Five wanted. Five ended up earning them legitimately and Bergy was able to do the quest he wanted. Everyone had fun.
In Smashozaurs, Casino doesn't blame Miko for stealing Five as a friend. Instead, they both bond
In Castle Quest, Miko doesn't make fun of Five when she finds out that Five never beat the game. The lie was not the focus of the episode, and was found out quite early. In fact, Miko helps him through the rest of the game.
In Karate Trainer, Lexi doesn't blackmail Miko into helping her. And Miko defends Lexi when Five tries to mind-wipe her.
In short, I love this series and I hope it gets a season 2.
