This guitar came to me quite by chance. My dad was looking around in Good Will when he came across this guitar. Knowing little, he asked me about it. I was away from home at the time, so I was hesitant to ask him to buy it without being their to play it and inspect it to make sure nothing was wrong with it. He did some quick research and bought it for an absolute steal of $40, figuring that if it was bad, we could flip it and sell it for $80. When I came home and was able to play it, it was quickly apparent that there was no need to sell it. For what seems to be a starter acoustic, this guitar just feels wonderful. It took me a little to get used to the thicker neck, larger fingerboard radius, and heavier gauge strings, but it’s nice to be able to play guitar and actually hear myself without an amp. To those wishing to learn guitar: do not hesitate to buy what seems to be a cheap, starter guitar. It might not be a $3000 Martin or a $5000 custom shop Gibson, but that does not make it a bad guitar, and in the right hands, it can even be a great guitar!
