Please welcome our newest team member, Kenneth Sibande, who just joined the team as MCW's Regional Finance and Administration Officer for Africa Programs.  This new position within the organization comes after lengthy discussions with MCW and MCx stakeholders, all of whom share the goal of improving systems to achieve deeper impact and ultimately change communities. Kenneth will be based in Dar es Salaam and will work closely with the Director of Africa Programs, Treasurers of MCx Boards, and Country Directors to ensure compliance and improve financial systems across our Africa programs.  With over 16 years experience of Finance, Admin and Auditing in NGO work, Kenneth's work has included being involved in complex planning and budgeting processes, identifying and rectifying internal control weaknesses, offering capacity financial trainings, providing clear guidance on donor policies and procedures, and grant reporting.  Welcome, Ken! #Welcome #MCWTeam #AfricaPrograms #Growth

Please join us as we welcome Ed Roatché to the MCW Team as part-time Communications Coordinator! As the Communications Coordinator, Ed will work closely with MCW team members to highlight our programs and online presence. Ed first connected with MCW back in May of this year as an intern assisting the team with our Youth Leadership Retreat.  Since then, Ed has continued to help team members with various communications projects including Youth Leadership Retreat alumni updates. MEET THE MCW TEAM, ‪#‎TANZANIA: Leonard Chacha Kitoka is a Member of MCT's Board of Directors. Leonard is Founder and Managing Director of INNOVEX where he is also director responsible for business development particularly in the areas of financial management, procurement, strategic planning and program development. He is a qualified accountant (CPA), an Accredited European Excellence Assessor and a Certified Project Manager. With over 19 years of consultancy experience in the Africa Great Lakes region, he has gained extensive experience in conducting a wide range of assignments for private sector, governments and for donors such as WB, UNDP, AfDB, SIDA, CIDA, JICA, FAO, DFID, USAID, DANIDA, EC, etc. He previously worked for UNDP, PricewaterhouseCoopers, Afro Aid Development Consultants, Coopers and Lybrand and the University of Dar es Salaam.
