my jackson storm and lmq designs .. ive kinda imagined storm as black (and maybe half korean? thats sorta projecting but also others have also hc'ed him as korean and it makes me happey!!!) when i started thinking of how id draw him but seeing him only ever be drawn with that 'killmonger cut' was actually so wild. how is that the only thing that cars fanartists ever agreed on 😭 edit: after careful consideration (lie) i have decided to add that I Do See It its just so funny that its so so common . just like blond mcqueen

Oh absolutely!!

I imagine it takes them sometime, especially with how my main au for them plays out. Lightning and Sally divorced (mutually) and are on good terms. They co-parent their child Aubrey, with the help of Francesco (and eventually Jackson. Hes not terribly fond of children).

So Lightning is a bit 50/50 on marriage for a while, but deep down he knows Jackson is gonna be his life-long partner.
