The McGavock family cemetery near Wytheville, Virginia, features carved sandstone monuments dating from 1812 through the 1830s.   It was placed on the National Register Of Historic Places in 1980.  

Dear tumblr, I've had a busy week and I haven't been able to blog and vent to you like I had anticipated. By the way, Obama came to my city today - Nashville and named us the fastest state improving the education system in the whole country. Haaaai. The POTUS is about to arrive at my old high school. I will say, the principal there now has done such an outstanding job of turning around the school that he really deserves the recognition that he's (hopefully) getting. My brother is up on the stage, ahahahaa.
