In all the rehearsal videos, Costa is pretty insufferable. I want to smack him for calling Jaquie hysterical. He’s obnoxious and an ineffectual director. And then he shows up in Accosted and he’s a tour de force. He reminds me why I like him, and why he’s so fun to write for in fic. Why I think he’s good for Peter, because he’ll say what Peter needs to hear in a way that gets through to him. It’s Costa’s time to shine in this episode, and he does so.
I feel like the Costa/Peter relationship would be like that quote from Kissing in the Rain- “we’d probably kill each other by Sunday, but by god, it’d be a glorious Saturday night.”
