As I understand the MCC rules the cost of new community lots should not be deduced from the royal steward’s funds but lots should just be added when the funds reach certain levels. This moves the challenge forward a bit to fast for my liking but paying the actual costs from the funds is also a bit demanding. I like Mortia’s idea to withdraw a specific sum for each new community lot. Before I can move on to village status I will need (in addition to funds of 15000);
A charity hospice; I will replace this with a communal bathhouse. Bathhouses were popular in medieval times. This lot is a cleaned copy from Fyrstad’s lot catalogue.
A foundling home; I don’t have any orphans yet so this will be a temple/cloister for the sisters of the Watcher. Orphans will be sent to the cloister and raised by the sisters. This will also be somewhere to send daughters that are not likely to be married or perhaps just want to be schooled.Â
A midsummer faire lot; a market for a variety of goods. I don’t really need both a weekly market and another faire lot at this stage so I will replace this with a midsummer barn. A barn were sims can celebrate midsummer and also have wedding feasts. This lot will also be reused from Fyrstad’s lot catalogue
