Why do you think The Poly Post is not cutting it? I am an editor for the paper and I want to do all that I can to make it the best it can be - so how can we do better?
Hey, bravo! Thank you for asking, and I mean that. I think this requires more explanation than I can give in an ask box, but a couple of the main issues I take are fact checking and quality control. I have been misquoted, and I’ve had friends misquoted. There are spelling and grammar mistakes (which is understandable in a weekly publication, but not to this degree). It is overseen by a professor, which means that it is school sponsored and can’t print anything too radical. Or if it can it doesn’t. Part of the reason the Poly Post exists is to be a learning experience for journalism majors, so you guys work with some understandable limitations. Another student news source is needed.

We HEART happy customers. :-) We got started based on the hobby of thrifting. It was fun and something we loved to do. We then expanded our “little shopping habit” to estate sales and yard sales. The camper was originally brought for us to take traveling trips in. As we began to expand Mbellish, we thought about potential storefront space. As a new business we wanted to keep cost low and then decided to used the trailer as a storefront. This was the beginning of our vintage mobile shopping experience, “Mbellish”. For now Mbellish is part time but we do plan to expand to full time in the near future. Not only do we offer vintage clothing; we also offer wardrobe consulting, personal shopping, image consulting and personal styling. So, you just have to be creative and think outside the box figure out what can set your business apart. :-)
