To expound upon a bigger point previously mentioned by @theanticool, so many of these WMMA fights boil down to “I have to win here because I feel most comfortable here!” These two decided off the jump they had to win in the clinch where there was no space to do any sort of work. They smothered their own offense for no reason other than the concept of comfort.

Lina Lansberg is just not good, man.
Like okay Gina Mazany isn't good either but she's TRYING here. She got signed way too early in her career and is trying to learn on the job while competing at the highest level. She's clearly trying to do something. This is the fourth fight of Lansberg's UFC run and they're all the same; her gameplan is "get beat up and do some clinch stuff!" She's just not good.
