I'm so sorry for falling behind! As apology, here are the rest of my Mayzello week posts:
Comfort
The first thing Brian noticed when he got home was that there was no Joe to greet him like there normally was when he got home after his boyfriend. There was just a lump of blankets on the couch, a box of tissues on the coffee table next to a mug of tea, and the TV playing some cheesy romance movie.
“Why, hello there.”
There came a muffled reply from the lump of blankets that sounded similar to a ‘hello’, but Brian couldn’t be sure.
He sat down on the couch beside him. “Are you feeling better than you were this morning?”
He gave a little shrug and popped his head out from the blankets to look at Brian. “Dunno. Can’t breathe through my nose anymore, but I’m not feeling so nauseous.” He explained.
“Well, that’s kind of… maybe it means you can eat something. I can make you some soup, if you’d like. My mum left me with an amazing recipe.” He suggested.
“I think.. I think that that sounds very good.”
He dropped a kiss to his forehead. “Alright, darling.” He moved to stand, but turned to raise an eyebrow when a hand grabbed him by the wrist to keep him from getting up. “I thought you wanted soup?”
“In a minute. Right now, I want cuddles.”
“Alright, then. Cuddles it is.”
Honeymoon
As soon as the door to their hotel room was shut, Brian had Joe shoved up against the wall, hands sliding up under his shirt, lips on his neck.
“Ah, fuck, Bri…”
“I plan to completely ravish you tonight, my darling.” He murmured against his neck, punctuating his sentence with a sharp bit to the skin.
“I definitely do not have any complaints about that.” He laced a hand in the older man’s hair and pulled his head up so that they could share a proper kiss. Brian’s hands found their way to his bum and he gave a squeeze before sliding down to his thighs and encouraging Joe to wrap his legs around his waist.
He happily accepted the invitation, giving a little hop so his ankles locked behind his back firmly in place.
They stepped back towards the bed, slowly as to not come tumbling down and all of that, but as soon as the backs of Brian’s thighs hit the wood of the bed, he was sitting down and Joe was shifting to straddle him.
“Well, Mr. May, I think that I’d like to suck your cock and then have you pound me into this mattress.”
“Mr. May, I couldn’t think of anything better to do with the evening.”
Meeting the Family
“Come on, I promise they’re not so bad.”
“It’s your family. They’re going to give me the ninth degree.”
“You’ll live. And they already like you, and they don’t have any problems with us dating, or any issues with you, and meeting them, I admit, is a little bit scary, but I promise it’s not as bad as you think it’s going to be.”
“Yeah?”
“Yeah.” He leaned up to press a kiss to his cheek. “John’s been thrilled to meet you, really. The people you really have to worry about are my mom and Mary, but you’re charming, so I’m sure they’ll love you.”
“Alright, if you say so.” He took a deep breath and reached up to knock on the door. Within seconds, Joe’s mom was swinging the door open and pulling Brian into a crushing hug. “Oh, erm, hello, Mrs. Mazzello.”
“Oh, please. Call me Virginia.”
“Alright. Virginia.”
“Come in, come in. Dinner is just about ready, so maybe you and Joe could help to set the table.”
“I think we can just about manage table setting.” He shot her a smile.
“Great. Joe can show you where the plates and things are, and Mary and John are in the sitting room if you’d like to.” She walked back off towards the kitchen.
“See? I told you it wouldn’t be so bad.”
“Oh, just you wait. We haven’t even sat down to dinner yet.”
Birthday
“Happy birthday to you…”
Brian’s eyes creaked open to see Joe sat on the edge of the bed, holding a pancake with a candle stuck in the middle of it.
“And good morning to you too.”
“Happy birthday to you… happy birthday dear Brian, happy birthday to you!”
“I see you made breakfast too.”
“Figured you wouldn’t want cake for breakfast.” He commented.
“And you guessed right.”
“So I figured a pancake was the next best thing.”
“Very innovative of you.”
“I thought so too.”
“It looks delicious.”
“Blow out your candle and make a wish. And hurry, or you’ll get wax in your syrup.”
He huffed out a little laugh before blowing out his candle.
“What did you wish for?”
“I can’t tell you, or it won’t come true.”
“You’re no fun.”
“You know what, though?”
“What?”
“My wish already came true.” He gave him a wide smile.
“Oh my gosh, you are an absolute sap.”
“You love me, though.”
He leaned forward to press a kiss to his lips. “Yes I do.”
“And I love you too.”
The Sickness Returns
“You shouldn’t have stayed so close to me while I was sick.”
“It’s not all my fault. You’re clingy and I can’t stand to disappoint you.”
“You’re a big old sap.”
“You know what that means, though?”
“What?”
“That I get to have you take care of me now. How the tables have turned.”
“Alright, old man.”
“You’re supposed to be nice to me. I’m frail and weak and sick.”
“Oh, hush. You’ve just got the flu.”
“Frail and weak.”
He rolled his eyes. “Would you like another mug of tea?”
“I still haven’t finished my other one.”
“Then do you want a bowl of soup?”
“I don’t feel much like eating at the moment. Maybe later, though?”
“Alright. I’m holding you to that, though. You need to eat. Your body needs nutrients to have energy, and it needs energy to get better.”
“Alright, doctor Mazzello.”
“Oh, quiet, you.”
“I’m just acting how you did.”
“I did not pester you that much. I just gave you unconditional love and lived at your beck and call.”
“Does that mean I have to be at your beck and call.”
“No… but I do expect you to give me plenty of love and attention and cuddles.”
“I think I can just about manage that.”
