Welcome 2 The Dawn, Ms. Melvoin aka The Original Mayte Garcia  (Or Vice Versa, We Still Haven’t Decided)!
In the past, Mayte’s flunkie and ultimate f*ckboi Dave has accused us of targeting Mayte and bullying her. Let us be clear on one thing: we don’t target people, but when you act like you don’t have the good sense God should have given you at birth and show your a** in public by profiting off a dead man, we have to call you on it how ever we see fit. NO ONE is exempt, we strive for equality in our dragging of folks in the purple kingdom. Only children are off limits. Â
Until now, though, only Mayte has been the one cashing in, robbing gullible Prince fans of at least $8,000 just this past Saturday to hula hoop to Prince’s music (because that mess was NOT belly dancing). We hope that she reports this income to the IRS for her charity because she claimed that it was a fundraiser for the rescue and because we know she definitely isn’t reporting it to the California, Florida, or Nevada state tax boards. At any rate, Mayte was joined this weekend in her quest to exploit Prince’s legacy for all it is worth with lies, half-truths and other sordid revisions of history by Susannah Melvoin. While it is quite pathetic of Mayte to be holding on to something Prince didn’t want 20 years ago, it is even more pathetic for Susannah to be holding onto something he didn’t want 30+ years ago. But there are similarities between the two and misery loves company.
Mayte is supported and emboldened by the likes of Dave, Kim and a legion of psychotics who refer to themselves as “Crusaders” ---- we call them cowards. Susannah has the equivalent. Wendy is her Dave---- taking credit for everything and anything ---- and Susan Rodgers is her Kim, shamelessly promoting a woman who if it wasn’t for Prince would not be on the radar of most (we still have yet to hear Quincy Jones confirm her claims about this lucrative project she supposedly had before working with Prince). We aren’t so sure about her Crusaders, but we haven’t really cared to look too much for not getting past the fact that anyone would even care that Prince proposed to her 30+ years ago. Truthfully, we are still trying to figure out why she continues to stress that fact when he never bothered to end his relationships with at least 10 other women and a host of one-nighters before AND after he proposed her.  Further, we are wondering what woman accepts a proposal from a man they know is asking out of guilt and while he has a multitude of other women? Susannah, you are the pre-Mayte! You were Mayte before Mayte was Mayte. At this point we aren’t even sure if she took a play out of your book or you took a play out of hers with the auctions and teasing of a memoir.

P.S. Prince is said to have given you $50,000 to help you keep your house out of foreclosure shortly before his passing, yet you haven’t collected child support from your ex-husband. FIFTY THOUSAND DOLLARS when it was reported after his death he only had $110,000 across six bank accounts himself and this is how you pay him back. That’s “all the way bold” and just wrong!
