𝘳𝘦𝘥 𝘵𝘳𝘦𝘴𝘴𝘦𝘴 𝘢𝘳𝘦 𝘵𝘸𝘪𝘴𝘵𝘦𝘥 𝘢𝘳𝘰𝘶𝘯𝘥 𝘴𝘭𝘦𝘯𝘥𝘦𝘳 𝘥𝘪𝘨𝘪𝘵𝘴   in the most tender of fashions,  pads of fingers lightly circle against the head that occupies her lap.  bree finds herself enjoying such mundane intimacy,  the simplicity of happy domestic life is all she’s ever wanted.  perhaps the circumstances could be lighter              dylan has left once again after a visit home,  but bree is selfishly indulging in the needy state that it’s left katherine in.     ❛  of course baby.  ❜     she trails the tip of index along the slope of nose and then taps it in a playful manner before leaning down to press a kiss between brows.     ❛  come on,  ❜     she helps her partner up into a seated position so that she can take hold of hips,  guiding the woman up the bed.  even spanking her bottom teasingly before curling up around her from behind completely.     ❛  cozy enough for you ?  ❜     arms encircle waist slowly,  squeezing her closer as nose burrows into sweet smelling hair.

𝘴𝘰𝘮𝘦𝘵𝘩𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘴𝘯𝘢𝘱𝘱𝘦𝘥 𝘸𝘪𝘵𝘩𝘰𝘶𝘵 𝘸𝘢𝘳𝘯𝘪𝘯𝘨,  𝘸𝘪𝘵𝘩𝘰𝘶𝘵 𝘱𝘳𝘰𝘱𝘦𝘳 𝘤𝘰𝘯𝘴𝘪𝘥𝘦𝘳𝘢𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯.   teetering dangerously on the edge of sanity throughout the entirety of the evening.  unluckily for bree she did not have the task of hosting the small gathering.  instead being left to observe   &   magnify the unsettling feeling that causes stomach to churn as katherine is paraded around by the blonde.  the announcement of newly entered relationship had left her winded,  feeling as if burning white iron was being shoved down her throat.  if only looks could kill              perhaps it’s cruel to think so harshly of the ex-stripper,  the woman herself hadn’t done anything to intentionally cause harm.  it’s easier to place the blame on her than it is to acknowledge that she had set katherine free.  or at least that was what she told herself when it all happened,  that it was for the other’s sake that they abruptly end things.  she regrets it,  all of it,  has since the words of termination left her.  fingers twist in the fabric of dress around hips,  keeping the shorter woman pinned to the wall.  nose is pressed against hinge of jaw,  inhaling the sweet tinges of vanilla that had been dabbed behind ear.  a low sound escapes at the protest,  unable to stop self from stealing a possessive kiss.  this is wrong,  inappropriate,  yet something about it feels so right to her.  to have the other here with her,  in her arms,  away from everyone else.     ❛  where would you rather do this then ?  where would you rather be when i tell you that you’re mine ?  ❜

𝘱𝘳𝘢𝘤𝘵𝘪𝘤𝘦𝘥 𝘴𝘮𝘪𝘭𝘦 𝘪𝘴 𝘱𝘳𝘦𝘤𝘪𝘴𝘦𝘭𝘺 𝘱𝘭𝘢𝘤𝘦𝘥 𝘸𝘩𝘦𝘯 𝘴𝘵𝘳𝘪𝘥𝘪𝘯𝘨   into the test kitchen,  subtle roll of hips as gaze meets the woman who had so cordially insisted her presence.     ❛  oh susan !  what a surprise,  i didn’t expect you to drop in today.   ❜     gracefully taking seat in the woman’s lap as if it were the most natural thing,  she often found herself perched there after all.     ❛  hopefully i didn’t keep you waiting too long,  i had to finish up a call before i could join you.   ❜     the tips of fingers trail along the curve of jaw affectionately before pressing tender kiss to temple.     ❛  oh ?  are you sure that’s  ...  wise,  susan ?  what’re you attempting to cook ?   ❜     

“ are you ready for bed? ”

𝘶𝘯𝘤𝘦𝘳𝘵𝘢𝘪𝘯𝘵𝘺 𝘳𝘦𝘮𝘢𝘪𝘯𝘴 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘰𝘯𝘭𝘺 𝘰𝘣𝘵𝘢𝘪𝘯𝘢𝘣𝘭𝘦 𝘤𝘰𝘯𝘴𝘵𝘢𝘯𝘵 𝘪𝘯   her ever spiraling life.  the irony is choking her !  leaving bree clawing desperately for sanity,  the ironlike grip had faltered in correlation to weakness.  having hoped to drown out sorrows    &   anguish in the uncountable cups of chardonnay.  preferring the deafening throb of a hangover versus the voice of failure.  she’s ashamed   &   sober unfortunately,  despite it being very well her choice,  did she really have one ?  katherine has always been a determined,  stubborn thing              but has that not been one of the uncountable reasons bree has come to appreciate the woman ?     ❛  i am,  thank you.  ❜     gaze lifts to the owner of the familiar voice,  eyes wide   &   harboring an innocent nature as hand extends,  a silent ritual in which signals she’d like for the other to join her.
