Mayahuel jijiji
Atlantica as Mayahuel
Mayahuel, "That Which Surrounds The Maguey Plant", is the goddess of the maguey, or agave plant, an important symbol of fertility in Aztec mythology. She's the wife of Patecatl, the god of pulque (alcoholic drink obtained from maguey) and mother of the Centzon Totochtin, the 400 Rabbits of pulque
—
Mayahuel is fast to recognize because, like the meaning of her name, she's almost always sitting or standing on an agave plant.
More precisely, a blue agave.
The distinguished silhouette and the color of this plant are what's intended for Atlantica's design. She's based on a blue sea dragon, glaucus atlanticus, which is shaped very similarly.
(Also important to note that Borgia Mayahuel has ornaments in blue and white like the sea slug)

As for possible thematic references, there is this scene in particular
I had made this post about Punti's number being a reference to Jean Valjean's prisoner number, the protagonist from Les Miserables.
First and foremost this should be a trait for Punti, given he gets actually kidnapped later in the ep. But I find it interesting that Atlantica is here, and she decides to make this part of her documentary. Because she's the character most fitting to be a prisoner, from the myth of how maguey came to be.
Mayahuel was trapped in one of the heavens, guarded by her grandmother, a Tzitzimitl, along with a group of more Tzitzimimeh, the devilish star creatures. Quetzalcoatl visited her and the two of them went down to the surface while her captors were asleep. The full myth is here
Atlantica's goddess was a prisoner, rescued by Quetzalcoatl. That's why I wonder if this myth is gonna be recreated when we get back to Punti, and if Lariat or Atlantica are gonna be part of it (Or Tezzorree! Seeing how Quetzalcoatl and Ehecatl are used interchangeably in the original text)
—
Finally, there's the start of the speech from Atlantica in the beginning of the episode. She explains this universe's version of the Big Bang and how a group of deities started creating life around the galaxy.
Which is just one of the many ways* the show points towards the theme of creation and creation myths, along with the Cosmic Egg. Because the main four are Aztec mythology's creator deities.
*Another thing that constantly appears in the show related to this, is static. TV static.
TV snow is a visual representation of all the surrounding signals the device catches around it, including the remnants on the Bing Bang
