I would say that Maya is like Legos for grownups, but I still play with Legos too. 3D modeling and UV unwrapping are meditative for me...here's a Dana 30 front axle showing some range of motion.

I modeled this using Maya 2015! I am still learning all i can about this program.

A still life project made in MAYA 2015. I had to render twice the amount of scenes for both the sunny and rainy environments, and boy were those long hours. Still, super rewarding.
