Max Phase
Well I’ve been super sucky at posting this week. But I’ve been on track with all my food (thank you meal prepping!) and had some awesome workouts. I was very excited, on my first day of the max phase, which was Thursday, I worked out with Nick at 24k crossfit again. We did some heavy lifting to set a baseline and I was surprised how heavy I can go considering I typically only do medium weight.
5 reps x4 each exercise
Squat- 80 lbs
Deadlift- 95 lbs
Bench press- 75 lbs
We also did assisted pull ups, man those are hard. Definitely hoping to be able to do at least one unassisted by summer! I’m not sure what time frame is a realistic goal haha I haven’t done a pull up unassisted since I was like 15. But I was very pleased with my performance.
Max Phase
After the 10 day cleanse phase I am down 4 pounds! And so far I am LOVING this max phase. No more fiber drink, which is great lol. But my energy levels are so high it’s insane! I’m surprised I haven’t felt weird, jittery, nothing like other supplements I have tried. I never drink caffeine, when I would drink soda it was always root beer which is caffeine free, and I don’t drink coffee (gasp, I know). Yesterday I even forgot to drink my Spark before work and had absolutely NO problem staying up through my shift (I work til midnight). Very excited to see what happens over the next two weeks of this phase. Meal prep tomorrow, I will post again with details on all my recipes :)
