This painting is a remake of an older painting I did back in 2015 even if little remains but the core concept. Inspired by the norse sagas and the beautiful Norwegian mountains and fjords. Listened to a lot of Heilung and Wardruna while painting this one!

Had some fun doing some character design last year. Started out with just shapes and a silhouette. I've always had an interest in historical dress and especially military uniforms and this was an attempt at making a fantasy one inspired by the Napoleonic Wars.

Looking forward to doing something similar in the near future. :)
