We got home from Norway today. We had such a good time! We spent 11 nights on a small ship that goes up and down the west coast of Norway delivering post and goods to lots of towns and villages. We started in Bergen and went north, crossed the Arctic Circle and then kept going north to the very top of Europe. We then went east to Kirkenes, which is just 5 miles from the Russia border. At Kirkenes, the ship turns round and starts heading back down to Bergen. It was such an interesting journey and I think Norway is the most beautiful country I've ever seen. It's the combination of sea, mountains, fjords, and the quality of the light - incredible.
