creases etch across her face,    brows knitting together as her sight focuses on the other completely.    she’s almost too quick to shake her head,    a mere beat passing before the edges of her lips slowly curl to form the smallest of smiles as max reaches out for jane’s hand,    taking it in her own.    ❝    uh,    first of all.    you’re a badass person.    ❞    you could count on her to make the situation light,    even for just a moment;    smile radiating at the other,    a laugh almost eliciting from her lips..    ❝    but you’re not a bad person.    ❞    the bright smile across max’s face soon deteriorates,    something more serious washing over.    jane doesn’t need her help,    is more courageous and brave than max will ever be.    but there is the urge to protect the other,    their new found friendship becoming special and important that max can’t just let the other think or believe they’re even remotely bad.    ❝    a bad person…    ❞    a pause,    lips closing for just a moment.
