Okay, while I didn't see Tony Stark as Peter's mentor in MCU, due to... all sorts of issues I have with him, Max Modell just feels bland to me.
He's not based on any canon character (as far as I know) and he doesn't seem to have much personality besides of "a guy Norman Osborn has rivalry with". I'm already 14 episodes in, but I look at Max and feel nothing.
I wonder if it's a common feeling.
