I have a dream to know if Leon and Max Meyer are still close, they were such good friends until 2019, after that I never saw them together again, of course they are in different countries at different times in their lives, but Leon seems to value his friendships so much that it would be strange if they weren't friends anymore, they don't even like each other's things on Instagram, their last interaction was in a 2021 Bayern game against Maiz and never again, I was a huge fan of theirs in S04 and loved their friendship
I really hope they’re still close 🥺 even though Leon’s Schalke era was a bit before my time following him, just by looking back at old pictures and videos, it’s clear what a sweet bond they had. While their careers took them down separate paths professionally (Leon’s still in Germany whereas Max has wound up in Cyprus), selfishly, I hope they’re still personally in touch, even if we’ll never really know for sure. After all, before there was Jo, there was Max, and much like with Jo, Max and Leon had that same near-spiritual connection. I mean, when Leon had to miss Germany’s silver medal Olympics performance in 2016 due to injury, Max brought his jersey along so he could be there in spirit. How sweet is that? 🥹
And then there was that time they went on a date to a Beyoncé concert together 🥰
Not only that, but they really seemed like the Schalke friendship/ship at the time. I can totally see why you loved them so much. I mean, look at how many cute/goofy moments they had together! There’s so much to love ❤️

Leon really does love his blondes, huh? First it was Chrikra at Bochum, then Max at Schalke, and now Jo at Bayern. He’s nothing if not consistent ig 😂 and him falling for short kings like Max and Jo makes so much sense given how affectionate he is. After all, they’re perfect cuddle-height 🥰
