in my experience the only reason to use something wireless is if you have a habit of damaging the wires. keep walking into tree branches that yank out your earbuds? wireless earbuds make sense. keep getting tangled in your mouse's chord every time you get up and ending up accidentally launching the mouse into the floor daily? wireless mouse makes sense.
