🌙 Smaugust 17/31 Spangled cotinga
I'm coming back with the prompt from yesterday ✨ It's hard to find the time for Smaugust recently, but I really want to paint all these birdragons eventually 🐦🐲

Ever since I was 9, I've been a proud Gryffindor. I've always been Hermione for Halloween and HP events and parties (yes, my friends and I have HP parties). I was so worried going into Pottermore, I thought if I don't get Gryffindor I will be happy with Ravenclaw. I just got my email today and I have just been sorted. As it turns out... it put me in Slytherin. WHAT DO I DO :'(
Slytherins share a lot of qualities with Gryffindors! They're brave and also intelligent. Your situation is like Evanna Lynch - she's having a major identity crisis because she has literally lived a Ravenclaw life and she was put into Gryffindor. Embrace your House. Although it's a total shock, you were put there for a reason. And besides... Severus was put into Slytherin, and he lived quite the Gryffindor life when he became a spy! Slytherins can go on to great things. You don't have to abandon Gryffindor, either. Be a Grytherin, or a Slythindor! Then you can have the best of both Houses and be proud of both :). I'll publish this because I'm sure many of you have had this problem.
