Living with a big tree, and I realize that planting a tree is like planting a mountain. 這件作品起源於山底下這幾個小花盆，和一棵在我家後方的台灣美麗原生種——血桐。因為這些花盆實在小得不適合植物，栽種下去，怎麼看都覺得委屈了。花盆擺著擺著，也充滿了時間與土的痕跡，我不願意就這麼丟棄它們，一直想著該如何做最好的利用。 再來說到這棵大樹血桐，我阻擋著房東常常逼近，想要斷肢的欲望，現在祂日漸茂密，為我在屋頂遮大風、避驟雨，看著祂和其上養育的萬物，就像一座山一樣多。讓我理解了，種下一棵樹，就是種下一座山。
