Help me...bring back the most disruptive innovation of the 21st century💯

John and Hank are actually two of the best things that could ever have happened to me.

I haven’t been a Nerdfighter very long, but already I feel the wonderful awesomeness of the community.

When I discovered the Vlogbrothers, I didn’t really care about issues that didn’t concern me.

I was too self-focused, and while not self-absorbed, per say, I focused too much on me and my own life instead of other people, whether that be people in my group of friends or people that live in Uganda.

Looking back, I’m a little ashamed, but I’m very glad that person isn’t me anymore.

And why have I changed? Because when I watched the Vlogbrothers videos, I realized how much impact on the world people have.

For the first time, I realized that issues I wasn’t concerned with.... actually did concern me. The Vlogbrothers taught me that all of these things affect humanity as a whole, and that as a human being living on the same planet as all the other humans, they needed to matter. Because if nothing mattered to anyone, where would we be?

Hank and John made me proud to be a human, because for the first time I was exposed to the good of humanity, instead of just the bad, and the Nerdfighter community is a big part of that. Hank, John, and the Nerdfighters, they both taught me that people can do ordinary acts of kindness that mean more than I thought they did.

All in all, Hank and John brought me up when I was down and showed me a perspective of the world I never would have gotten to see otherwise. The Nerdfighters taught me that people are good and are capable of great things.

The Nerdfighter community, John, and Hank have made my life worth more than it was before, and I think that is brilliant.
