             "Yeah... yeah, Bree, I know. I’ve got the damn avocados for the guac. Don’t worry, alright? I’m not that much of a moron... I’ve done this once or twice.” Weston chuckled into his phone and quickly cut his sister off before she would continue on with some chant about things that were already on his list though had her convinced he was bound to forget. Quickly, Weston hung up the phone and turned back toward the companion that dared tackle the supermarket with him. “She still thinks I’m a big forgetful idiot ever since I forgot the brown sugar last Thanksgiving and the stores were closed.” He hummed out, laughing a bit as he glanced toward Matias with the shopping cart half filled in front of them. “You’re comin’, right for the 4th? You and ‘Low?”

            "I think you’ve got some explaining to do, mister.” Naomi announced as she sat down across from Matias, with her legs folded beneath the table and her manicured nails tapping down against the wooden table top as she ( they ) awaited for their glasses of wine to be poured and brought to the table, even if she would just prefer for them to drop the bottle and leave. It was almost ironic —- how little she knew of Matias and Harlow’s past relationship, and yet now she was full invested on seeing it sail. Harlow was one of her very best girlfriends, while Matias was someone she was getting to know. She didn’t put two and two together until she actually spotted with her own two eyes a cute blonde cuddling up with her favorite professor. Just to make matters much more dramatic, Naomi sucked in a breath of air and paused to draw out the suspense, waiting until after the wine was poured before she let it out. “And I have a feeling you know what I’m talking about.” 

           “This is apparently all I’ve got.” Weston commented as he reached around the couch and handed off the drink to Matias, a white wine in a stemless glass curtesy of Penelope herself. Weston wasn’t much of a wine drinker —- in fact, he much rather preferred a ice cold Coors Light compared to anything else, but he couldn’t dock Matias for it. Well, he could, but that would only come a few more drinks in. “Still can’t believe you know the difference between a moscato or a rosé, man.” He murmured, taunting the other before dropping down onto the oversized chair located next to the sectional Matias took a corner of, lowering the volume of the college basketball game in the background, before turning toward Matias. “Aside from the newfound taste for some sour grapes... Don’t tell Penny I said that, either...” Weston laughed. “How ya been, man?”
