im sure they did another mastermind sketch wherein they sang anything but i have never been able to find it.

You have goals, you have dreams and a lot of special things that you wish to accomplish in life, not only for self-gratification purposes but to also increase your personal real estate value. So you write down your goals and all of the things that you desire to achieve and you even sub-categorize your goals breaking them down into small steps.  Aside from breaking down your goals in to small actionable steps, these goals only apply to your career and navigating the corporate ladder to success.

But what about your personal growth that will help develop you into an enhanced, well rounded, self-educated and cultured person?

Below are a few suggestions to help you incorporate and develop your Personal Growth Strategy.

DEVELOP A SCHEDULE

Making the time to fit in things that will contribute to your overall growth can be hard. The easiest way to set aside time for your self-development activities is to schedule it in on your calendar. Your calendar can be a physical planner where you can pen it in, or a calendar on your phone.

Example Schedule Entry

Monday – Friday              6am – 7am          Workout

Monday-Wednesday     5pm -6pm           Rosetta Stone, Level 1-3, French (1 hour 3 times a week)

Monday – Sunday           7pm-8pm            Read 3-4 chapters of new business book

GIVE YOURSELF A DEADLINE

When it comes to creating your personal growth strategy, attach a deadline to each goal. Attaching a deadline to your goal activates your drive to get it done! Imagine how good it will feel to be fluent in your second or third language in 3 months. Imagine how great it will feel to get through one book after another, and imagine how good it will feel when you love the way you are looking in the mirror!

JOIN A MASTERMIND CIRCLE OR ACCOUNTABILITY GROUP

A Mastermind Circle is a group of like-minded individuals that come together to lean on one another for advice, ways to navigate challenges, share connections  and ideas as well as help each other solve problems. Your group can meet once a week, bi-weekly or monthly.

An Accountability Group works kind of like a mastermind group except your group partners are also aware of your goals and strategies and group members help hold each other accountable for reaching their goals by either checking in daily, weekly, bi-weekly or monthly. Each accountability partner in the group has their own set of goals which doesn't necessarily have to be the same set of goals as yours or anyone else’s.

To make your group successful, at minimum you should have 3-4 partners in the group.
