The rapper shared this playful little moment from their travels, with Jazzma showing him some love while Ross jokingly calls it “beautiful narcissism.” 😂

Sidenote: I remember reading reading the lyrics to song “Mother I Sober” and the fact that Drake could say something about his rival being a victim of molestation because that’s the reason why he called him out for being a pedo is disgusting.

it’s disgusting because he basically saying that a victim of abuse has the right to be outraged about abusers not be outraged by abuse because it’s the right thing to do .

It’s just as disgusting as him saying that his rival is rapping like he’s trying to free the slaves when you consider the fact that our black American ancestors were victims of sexual abuse by white slave owners. . White slave-owners sexually abused millions, and in the song Kendrick is showing how this is passed down. “They” is white slave owners. “Our” is the black slaves. The slaves had no choice or escape from these evil humans. Pyschologically, fear of things of being sexually abused and raped is passed down, aswell as just fear in general.

As quiet as it’s kept, there seems to be a tragic pattern of Black male rappers being sexually abused as children.

To name a few:

 Denzel Curry opened up about being molested as a child.

 Lil Wayne has spoken about being raped at age 11. 

Kevin Gateselaborated on how the pain of being molested as a child inspired him to rap.

 Common came forward about his sexual abuse as a child in hopes that it would inspire a safe space for more Black men to.

A common criticism of hip hop culture is its glorification of material gratification. Kendrick poses a strong bit of nuance against this criticism: A lot of these men indulge in these lifestyles to cope with sexual trauma.

Most incidents of rape and sexual harassment are due to power dynamics and induced by family members rather than strangers, contrary to popular belief.

For example A kid being walked home from school by the same uncle who molested him would further the trauma of the kid on a daily basis – trauma that will make him bitter and abuse power dynamics one day by taking it out on the ‘vulnerable’ individuals in his life (i.e. women).

Unfortunately Drake has no idea about the effects of real life traumatic events that Generational Trauma can cause one person, regardless of whether they have been victims of child molestation with Kendrick describing how a family member was accused of molesting him and despite saying he didn't, that family member still was ostracized and shamed for it. And then it goes into more tear-jerker moments when Kendrick reveals that his mother herself was terrified of him being molested since she was sexually assaulted back then as well.

And what if Kendrick was actually a victim of csa which by the way if Drake had properly listened to this song , tells he was never a victim of csa , he’ll just be outing and worst than that, making light of a victim of child molestation to say that he’s a not a pedophile.
