tbh what i do is, i scope out a person before i talk to them to see if they have similar interests and if they do then i'll attempt to talk to them about the thing and hope for the best,,,sometimes it works but eh
yeah, that’s what I’d like to do! but that’s the thing i have trouble with in the first place. it’s so hard for me to even approach someone and say ‘hey i heard you like _____ let’s talk about said thing!” and even then how do you get past the stage of “i complimented this person on their cool fandom shirt once and now we say hi to each other in passing but that’s it”? anyway thanks <3
