TBH it really hurt to see the scores and stats for the Edin vs Bottcher game throughout the morning 💔💔💔 Super bummed #therealgoat 🐐 @niklasedin & @teamniklasedin will not be making the playoffs of the #MastersGSOC this weekend. They have one more game tomorrow against Team Dunstone. What a bummer of a game 1 for #therealgoat 🐐 @niklasedin & @teamniklasedin at the #MastersGSOC this morning. The Swedes needed 2 to force the game to an extra end and 3 to win. Instead, a #StealPants against them extended McEwen’s lead, securing the win. Silver lining to not having this game streamed is I didn’t see how it all played out. Unfortunately there’s video of Nik missing the runback on Twitter. . . . Game 2 against Team Gushue gets underway in a few short hours. Hoping my dudes get lots of ☕️ and are able to shake off the jet lag and whatever 🐵🙉🙈🙊🐒 are plaguing them so far this season because goatniklasedin needs a lot of Fantasy Curling points! It’s nice to see my favorite skip @niklasedin looking like his old self again at the #CanadianBeefMasters after a rough start this season 👏👏👏 His performance during the round robins and quarterfinals of the #MastersGSOC was very reminiscent of how he was at Worlds earlier this year - fierce, determined, and a commanding force on the ice who was not willing to take anything but a win 💪💪 @teamniklasedin is looking for what I hope is their first of several #GSOC titles this season 👊💪 * The pool shark ball artist and the #SwedishVikings will face off against Team Epping again in the semifinals. It was absolutely NOT fun at all watching #TeamEdin struggle and not be able to claw their way out of a deficit that kept growing and growing w/ each end this morning. Luckily, they clenched their playoff spot last night so today’s win wasn’t absolutely necessary, but it would’ve been nice to go to the #CanadianBeefMasters playoffs undefeated. * I hope the #SwedishVikings have a restful #Friday and have gotten all #MastersGSOC losses out of their system today. #TeamNiklasEdin remains #undefeated in the round robins and have qualified for the playoffs already after defeating Team Jacobs in a ridiculously lucky fashion that made my jaw drop.
