Focus was proving to be a struggle for Allison. She had been running around all day, trying to avoid sitting still for too long, but she had literally ran into someone. It was just... not her best day, and there was nothing she could do to fix it. She just had to make it through the whole day, go home, and reset so she could come back in to actuallyĀ Ā do her job. Of course, while she was in her own head, trying to force herself to focus, she realized she hadnāt been listening to a word the person across from her was saying. How long had she been zoned out for? She hardly remembered why the conversation started in the first place. She looked up from her paperwork, hoping the confusion wasnāt plastered all over her face-- unlikely, as she was an open book --and tried to save some face.Ā āIām sorry, I didnāt quite catch what you were saying.ā Smooth, Allison.Ā
