48% were requests, 47% were my inspiration, and 6% were prompts (events and "OC Sundays").

5 NSFW posts (1 more than 2023).

In July, I started to intentionally read/reblog a lot more, resulting in an 80% decrease in my own posts.

One interesting takeaway I have in comparing the years is that while the amount I wrote/posted decreased (almost halved), the amount of interaction I received in replies and reblogs increased (about a third). Overall notes were still lower due to decreased likes, but I received more meaningful notes across fewer posts... that's pretty awesome!

✨ Personal Favorites:

Take Me Out one shot/fic exchange... This was a story concept I had in mind for a long time and finally got an opportunity to breathe it to life with a fic exchange event. I just love it so much.

Ready or Not one shot... I feel kinda sappy over this fic. It's a little different in tone, and it's one of the few endings I've written that I actually love (I struggle to end one shots, IDK why).

Drabbles... I wrote more short stories and blurbs this year, and they were a lot of fun! Especially The Presence of Absence, made myself cry on that one.

Virgin!reader choose-your-own-one shot... Writing three smutty one shots all at once was a tough challenge. I'm proud of the work I put into filling this prompt, even if the stories didn't get much love from others.

My reading challenge... Seeing so many complaints from the lack of interaction on people's writings got me thinking about my own role in the fandom. It didn't feel right for me to bemoan low reblogs on my stories when I myself never bothered to reblog from others. So I created a little system and got to reading! As a result, I feel more connected to a community and cherish the comments I do get rather than the ones I don't.

Some quick life updates for anyone interested :))

2024 is going to be an interesting year for me. Two main milestones: I'll be turning 30 later this month, and I'll likely be moving to a new state at some point 😲 In addition, I've (so far) staved off symptoms of seasonal depression for the first time ever, and I've been setting boundaries/redefining less-than-healthy relationships in my life. 🙌 Yay for positive change and growth!

Writing will never leave my life, and by extension, neither will fanfiction. I want to write even more this year, but more importantly, I want to write more of the things that excite and interest me.

I spent December writing almost all of the inbox requests that built up over the past two years. They're queued to post for many weeks going forward. I'll be deleting the few that remain for my own well-being. Entering this new calendar year free of past burdens, however small, has been so... well, freeing!

I have plans for a lot of fics and one shots, finishing ones I started, getting into new plots that have been simmering on the back burner for far too long, maybe even exploring some OCs if anyone's interested. I'm excited to share them all with you!

And I'll make my way back to watching Rebels at some point I promise

That said, I'll still be open to new requests this year. I'll just be a liiiittle more selective in what I keep, and those choices will fluctuate depending on what I'm capable of at any given time - I may be traveling, I may be working on other things, who knows. Please don't be afraid to try sending a request anyway. Anything I don't write for is nothing personal against you, it's just me trying to keep my life balanced.

Falling For You one shot/fic exchange... I feel so protective of Jesse after exploring his character in this piece. He hardly ever gets picked for anything and I just need everyone to love him now okay.

Lesser-Known Clone Love Languages... I incorporated a lot more other clone characters throughout my writing this year, from Mayday to Blackout, from Waxer to Bly... even Hawk got a line in a fic.

No links for this one, just general appreciation for all the anons and new friends I got to talk with! 🤗 Those posts weren't included in this analysis, but I did stop scrolling to fondly reread our chats about our OCs, queer representation, and name ideas for the Grand Inquisitor.

Sooo yeah! That was my year! 😅 Idk if anyone will really care about any of this but I mainly did this for me anyway. It was a good reminder of just how much I accomplished, all the fun I had, the great community I'm a part of... This blog has been with me through all the ups and downs for the past couple years, and it's genuinely brought me so much joy. I can only hope it's done the same for others ❤️

And I've noticed several of these blogs are either no longer active or have not interacted with any of the things I tag them in for a while...
