What they smell like: ash and firewood. This is normal for the Master of the Fire Element. Valera likes it a lot, he thinks it's a very comforting smell. Like being near the hearth without getting dehydrated.

How they sleep (sleeping position, schedule, etc): like a log. Once Indra is in bed, nothing save the end of the world could wake him up. Well this, and a well-applied bucket of water, that Valera is more than able to provide. He always sleeps in weird positions, but less now that he has a merman to hold in his arms, and doesn't move too much. His schedule is a bit weird, and he should go to bed earlier, but never considers it. It's not really a surprised to anyone that he likes to sleep in. And nap. And doze off. And... you get the picture. He likes to sleep in the nude, but always takes great care of re-braiding his hair before sleep, so it doesn't get too tangled or damaged.

What music they enjoy: metal, and that's not even a pun. He loves himself a good metal record. Sometimes, he puts one on in his office, closes the door, and relax. Valera kinda thinks it's as relaxing as taking a nap in a junkyard.

How much time they spend getting ready every morning: a good half-hour AT LEAST. First, he has to get up. Then, drag himself in the shower, where he'll stay an ungodly amount of time, until there's no hot water left. Then, he'll scarf down a gigantic breakfast. Then try to wrestle his hair. Then try to wrestle Valera's hair. Then braid Lakshmi's hair (but her hair is easier). Then, MAYBE, he'll be ready. If he's not caught by the newspaper first. Scratch that, he takes more than an hour.    

Their favorite thing to collect: pokemons. Seriously, he's a beast at that game. All his cartridges have full pokedexes, and he even has a bunch of shinies. He trades them with Lakshmi and Jil.

Left or right-handed: ambidextrous

Religion (if any): he was a follower of the Warrior, but hasn't even set foot in her temple for years now. He likes the Sea way more, even if WATER, because Valera worships It, and he likes going to the temple with him. He doesn't pray, but he stays with him, and watches the pretty statues and fountains, and he almost feels at peace.

Favorite sport: husband throwing he's a master of the dravidian martial arts. Don't let the goofy attitude and My Little Pony toys fool you. He'll fucking obliterateyou. He's a master warrior, and didn't win his title of Master of the Arts of Fire by being cute or a bumbly sitcom dad.

Favorite touristy thing to do when traveling (museums, local food, sightseeing, etc): find all the pretty ponds, fountains, lakes, etc.... and show them to Valera. Then try to push him in them. Alternatively, he loves trying all the local foods. The spicier, the better, but then again, he likes everything. He still talks about that smoked salmon with a sour cream sauce he once tried in a small village.

Favorite kind of weather: SUN !! ALL THE SUN !!! SO MUCH SUN !! INDRA LOVES SUN !!

A weird/obscure fear they have: that his hair is going to strangle him in his sleep. That's why he braids his and Valera's before sleeping. One never knows when one is going to get attacked by hair.

when of if I started shipping it : almost as soon as I created them. Maybe it took a bit, but it was quite soon. Because they are adorable.

my thoughts: THEY ARE SO CUTE TOGETHER !! Looking after each other like they do, helping each other, bitching about stupid parents or naughty students, ..... Including Indra throwing Valera in the sea to help with his problems. That takes love.

What makes me happy about them: they found solace in each other after having lots of trials and problems, and even if they still have scars from the past, bad memories and nightmares, they still lead a quite happy life because they now have someone else who cares about them, and who they can share things with when they become to hard. They have each other’s back and protect each other and awwwwww.

What makes me sad about them: that they still have problems. Less that other couples, but their respective pasts still haunt them, and as much as they help each other to go through it, sometimes it’s just... not enough, and the only thing they can do is hold the other and hope it’ll pass.

My kinks: ...... hot and cold play. Seeing as Valera always has cold hands, and Indra hals has hot ones, they love playing with that~

Who I’d be comfortable them ending up with, if not each other: Indra would get along fabulousy with Sven too, since they are both totally crazy. If not, Jil is always a good option, even with the age difference. As for Valera, someone nice and doctory would be good. Like the Doc. Or Dolores. Or Belial. Choices are endless !

To be fair, the job of Grand Master in Second was quite a good one. You were powerful, respected, you could lazy around or crash into your boyfriend / coworker office, you could put stupid music on when the director went on a walk and get away with it, the children looked up at you with reverence and awe, …. No really, that was an amazing job. There was but a downside to it. And that was the parents.

Not that all the parents were awful. Most of them were quite agreable and patient, and understood that educating those young psirits on the paths of enlightment and the art of hitting someone with a weapon was hard and difficult. Okay, maybe not most of them. Many of them. Some. A few. Maybe. A huge number of them were sure that their children were the most amazing persons to ever walk the Earth, and all those pesky teachers were after them, blaming the poor innocent for everything and anything, when they were perfect and adorable and wonderful. Walking little gems, they were, and Indra and his ilk shouldn’t disrespect their amazingness.

Another bunch of one, even less enjoyable, wanted to discuss everything. Lessons, training sessions, recommanded books, access to the labs, the library, the training grounds… Everything was up to discussion, because it was too harsh, or not harsh enough, but any way, it wasn’t good, and nevermind that there were several hundreds of students in that school, it had to be immediatly changed into what they wanted, right now, and be harsher or easier or something.

And then, there were the (luckily very rare) specimen like the ones who were standing in front of him. The ones who didn’t approve of anything their progeniture was doing, and who demanded for Indra to descend on the wayward child with a furor akin of that of the Protecting Goddess, to kick them back in the right track.

The ones currently standing in from of him were of that third, awful breed. They had demanded to talk to him as soon as they set feet into his school, and for ten minutes now, they had been yelling about how much their son was a disappointment, a failure, a horrible child, a rebel and an idiot. They wanted him punished, banished, given back to the hands that would shape him back again into a fine, polite young man.

Okay, to be fair, Todd wasn’t the most polite of the bunch. His brother may have been a brillant ray of sunshine, but Todd… let’s just say he wasn’t as sunny as him. In fact, he was seriously introvert and a loner, to the point of being almost misanthropic. He had awful notes, didn’t participate during lessons, didn’t make friends... It began to be better when Alexander entered his life. Todd, while he didn’t make any effort during his lessons, started to open up a little more, and after a while, ended up throwing school away to do what he wanted the most : settle with his boyfriend and learn how to be a librarian. It seemed to suit him well, Indra was sure he even saw him smile once or twice.

But his parents didn’t seem to agree at all. Nevermind the fact that their son was an adult, able to make his own decisions. He left school, started to live with a man, a retired soldier, and was living his life. And that wouldn’t fly. So here they were, demanding and threatening. Indra’s head was starting to hurt, and to be honest, it was taking a toll on his self-control. Maybe they woud be less noisy with a few flames up their...?

- Mister Indra, did you even listen to what we just said ?

Forcefully pulled out of his murderous reverie, indra shook his head and flatly answered :

- To be honest, no. But then again, it’s “master”, not “mister”, as I already told you a fuckton of times. So I think it’s a draw.

The retort had the advantage of leaving them speechless for a moment, gaping for air as if he had just hit them.

- As for your son, to be frank, I don’t care. He’s happy like that, and that’s good. I’m not going to tell him how to live his life just because it doesn’t suit you. If he doesn’t listen to you, that’s his right. But I’m not going to ask him to go with you. It would make Alexander sad, and I value his friendship and work way much that I might value your opinion. So no. I won’t move.

His declaration was followed by a sputtering of “what ?” “how dare you !” with a sprinkle of “how insolent !” on top. Time to wrap this up, he thought. Lakshmi was waiting for him, and he didn’t have much time to spare.
