"Sexy" is not a word I've felt aligned with since my mastectomy. I feel like a stranger to the upper left quadrant of my body - with a boob that is an odd shape - for now, until reconstruction. The seductive bra and panty sets I've spent years investing in are now neatly packed away, hoping to make their debut on my new breasts once they've been molded to a presentable shape; I'm not even sure my updated set will be able to endure the underwires.
