sad beige dunkin donuts:
if I had a nickel for every time an MBTA bus driver asked me for directions on their route Iād have two nickels, which isnāt a lot but itās weird that it happened twice right?
one of my biggest pet peeves is when a listicle is like ātop 10 things to do in Boston!ā and the very first one is in a town thatās an hour or more outside of Boston and isnāt even anywhere near a commuter rail station. no offense but if you canāt get there on the T (and are therefore a major hassle to get to for to the many people who live in Boston and donāt have cars) I donāt think you should be allowed to consider yourself āBostonā

me any time someone is watching Knives Out (2019)
What's the worst part about living in the Boston area? I've only been there once (from the Midwest) but I feel like I romanticize the fuck out of it š
Ooh that's a tough one since I really love living here!
I definitely have a love-hate relationship with the public transportation system. As someone who doesn't drive I really appreciate having an easy way to get around, but it's certainly not in the best shape. Most of the trains are old, the tracks screech all the time (lookin' at you, Boylston), and we've had several derailments and crashes in the past year. And donāt even think about trying to get on a train near Fenway on the day of a Red Sox game. Sure, it's got a certain... charm to it and we're home to the oldest subway tunnel in North America which makes for some really interesting history, but I always get a little jealous when I visit other cities and see how clean and shiny and reliable their vehicles and stations are compared to the T.
Also, rent prices suck here š
