one time when lucas was having pre-game jitters because it was the last game of the season and lauren was thinking whether or not she should wish him luck, but then she remembered that they weren’t in speaking terms and he was probably busy warming up.

at 2 a.m. when she couldn’t sleep and her thoughts are eating her up, lauren always texted lucas and he’d call her at that very moment to keep her company until she drifts off, but thought that he was tired and asleep, so she didn’t bother sending him a text.

one time when the boys went to a party and ashton was too wasted to drive; lucas, on the other hand, didn’t drink as much as usual that night so he insisted on driving his best friend home. as lauren heard lucas drive away from the jackson residence, she thought about sending him a text to thank him for bringing her brother home and that to text her if he had driven back to his house safely, but thought that texting and driving wasn’t highly recommended and, even though he didn’t drink a lot, he might be a little drunk, making him more accident prone and lauren didn’t want that.

one time when lauren thought about finally admitting that she was anorexic, although she hated it when he worried about her because he had too many things to worry about and she didn’t want to be another weight on his shoulders.

that time when callum found out about athena being blessed by poseidon and he’s thinking “wow she really is full of surprises” and he wanted to kiss her right there, but he didn’t do it because everyone in the pokemon squad was there and he didn’t want allie setting him on fire, or troy, lia, alaska, and belle zapping him, or louis using those water powers on him.

one time when callum’s family invited athena over ((because he always talked about her in front of his brothers and parents obvs)) and athena quickly got along with everyone, especially with chase, who talked about nothing but comic books.

one time before athena was going about to have an interview with her dream university’s dean, he wanted to plant a kiss on his forehead and to reassure her that they’ll love her because who doesn’t love her? but chris was there, too, and he’s afraid of chris okay.

one of the many times chris had to leave for college because his short break was over and it made athena sad considering the fact that her big brother would be miles away from home again, callum wanted to comfort her, but deciding to resist the temptation of kissing her.

one time when he drove athena home from their lowkey movie date, thinking that she looked so pretty standing in front of him on the porch of the jackson residence, he wanted to kiss her at that very moment but then percy ((that bitch)) opened the door and told athena to go inside because it was already late.

everytime cam was out with ashton, lucas, and cara, the three of them would insist that we was so whipped and, like the little shit he always was, he’d just deny it like “i don’t love lia.” ((bonus: ashton, lucas, and cara even made it a drinking game)).

nana and cara talking about how in love cam was with lia over dinner and cam, as always, denying it.

that time cam drunk called lia and accidentally spilled the beans, but covering his tracks when he corrected himself “i love talking to you.”

one time when lia was on her period and she was so annoyed at everyone, cam thought “wow okay you’re cute when you get mad and i love you,” but never said it out loud.

that time when he thought lia was actually pregnant with ashton’s child, he wanted to admit that he loved her, but thought it was too late.

finally, that time they were arguing in different languages: him speaking in italian and lia speaking in spanish. neither of them had no idea what the other was talking about, and cam didn’t miss the opportunity to admit that he was, indeed, so in love with her ((in italian though so she couldn’t understand)).

one time during karaoke night and derek was called to sing, he kind of wanted maya to hold his hand and squeeze it reassuringly.

one time during a school field trip to a museum and they were jampacked outside, derek didn’t want to miss the opportunity to “accidentally” hold her hand.

one time when they were having a “friendly date” and decided to watch a horror movie, derek wanted to hold maya’s hand because he thought she was scared, but she wasn’t, so he didn’t.

one time when derek saw maya sitting on the grassy football field, drawing something, and he wanted to hold her hand but thought that he shouldn’t because he might ruin her art.

the time when carmen left for college, making maya sad because her sister would be very far away from home, derek wanted, more than anything, to hold maya’s hand to reassure her that he was still there.

when derek was driving maya home and she was dead silent, he knew that something was bothering her, so he reached for her hand and gave it a reassuring squeeze to let her know that he was always there for her.

one time when kia made her weekly trip to the cemetery and she saw ashton’s parent’s graves, which weren’t that far from her dad’s, the image of the tall blonde quarterback with a lip ring flashed into her mind, and she shook her head because she couldn’t think of him, because he was dating giovanna, who was her friend, too.

one time when she was driving around new york probably past midnight and wonderwall played in the radio, she automatically thought of him because when kia had physics tutoring sessions with ashton, he tended to hum that song absentmindedly.

one time when she laid in her bed in the middle of the night, giving up on sleep after hours of tossing and turning, she thought of him again, like how was he doing? was he sound asleep? was he awake? and if he was, what would he be doing during that hour? god, she was so sick of sleeping alone.

one time when ivan went to the hardy residence because his mom had asked him to bring something to anna and that she was too busy to do it herself, julia was the one who opened the door when he knocked. he thought how breathtaking she looked even with that bedhead and those pajamas.

one time when julia spent almost the whole night studying for an exam and, even though she had those dark circles under her eyes, she still looked breathtaking to ivan.

that time when he dropped by aunt av’s workplace, seeing julia in the dress that av designed for her to wear on rose and danny’s wedding, ivan stood in awestruck because damn she looked so perfect in that dress.

that time when they were allowed to sleep in the same bed together then the next morning, ivan woke up before julia. he just gazed at her because she still looked breathtaking even when she was asleep.
