Morning light filters through the trees, a mountain air fresh and crisp.
It was always quite naturally dark here, yet for once perhaps the morning seemed a bit more pleasant than most. What a surprise, considering what had occurred just last night.Â
Yet all at once a certain WEIGHT seemed to have vanished,
as if a burden has lifted itself from one's shoulders. Now why could that be?Â
The birds tweet softly among the trees, the wind sways the branches ever so...
The day seemed normal enough.... then what.. Â
ă ă Ah yes.. THE HEADACHES HAVE STOPPED.Â
No longer was there an insistent pounding in the back of one's skull,
no longer could one feel their very own mind slipping away the memories which so many held so dear.Â
ă ă But if the headaches stopped.. wouldnât that mean?
A CRACK OF STATIC ECHOES THROUGH THE AIR,
and once again her voice carries itself through the air.

There is little choice but to obey her, but to gather where she has said, behind the school and to a scene which seemed the complete opposite of the murder which had transpired just two weeks prior.
A raven haired lad laid propped up against the school building.
Bright wild flowers lay around him, along with candles set up around the area still burning - even if barely so. The entire scene is quite PEACEFUL, the young boy appearing almost as if in a deep slumber.
ă ă That is of course, expect for the STUMP of a MISSING HAND,
ă ă blood still slowly oozing from the wound.
Yes there is no doubting this boy, as peaceful as he may appear, was dead.
From thin air the youkai of phantasms appears once more,
eyes glancing over the dead body before turning her attention to the gathered crowd,
and as she appeared a scroll seemed to appear back in everyone's hand.

ă ă you all know what that means, correct ? Best hop to it . â

INVESTIGATION PERIOD: START !
The body looks peaceful, the victim's eyes closed almost as if they were just sleeping.
The victim's RIGHT HAND is MISSING, it appears to have been CHEWED OFF. There is a light amount of blood around the stump however.
There is no blood on the victim or his clothing otherwise.
There is a single knife wound on the victim's back upon closer examination, however it has been quite obviously CLEANED. Â
BROWN HAIR can be found on the victim.
Cause of death is STABBING.
Body found laid up against a wall BEHIND THE SCHOOL. The body itself is surrounded by wild flowers, and slowly burning candles.
Some of the flowers around the right side of the victim have been lightly trampled.
There doesnât appear to be much else of note around the scene.
Among everyone gathered, BYAKUYA TOGAMI ( @malchancevilain ) is NOTABLY ABSENT.
