Nor does it help things that we don’t know (yet) how much interaction between K’airos and her flesh-and-blood sister actually took place, and how much was between K’airos and the Voidsent possessing her.

This is good! Twinsoul doesn’t mean to be intimidating, but... Well, I guess she does. She definitely doesn’t think that she’s being mean, but she likes to keep Tirin on her toes and wants to make sure Tirin understands that she is dangerous. I think in any kind of long-term relationship, that’s going to have to go away at some point, but that’s probably going to be a problem.

I think Twinsoul would be surprised to find that Goroth doesn’t have anything particularly against her. She believes that Goroth resents her and is trying to keep her and Tirin apart. Goroth has fallen victim to Twinsoul’s cynical worldview. She assumes everyone is up to something, and since Goroth presents himself as altruistic, she thinks he’s keeping secrets.

That’s understandable! D’hein is the king of mixed signals. On the one hand he’s trying to be a father figure, but on the other hand is constantly flirting with her, but on the other other hand has expressed romantic intentions toward her mother! At least all of these different roles count as positive?
