It comes with a spatula to spread the peel off mask evenly. After a few minutes the alcohol fragrance does go away and you are left with the soothing calendula scent. The instructions say that you can leave the mask for up to 30 minutes, after 20 minutes mine was set. Is very easy to remove but fair warning, be careful with your hair, the mask what stuck on my hair and it was painful to take off. Anyway, after 20 minutes my face felt very soft, less red and glowing. I recently got a calendula peel-off mask to try from April Skin and I love it! I love their whole Calendula skin care collection because everything has a faint smell of flowers and you can tell that there's real calendula Essence in there. Was excited to try this Calendula Peel Off Mask from Aprilskin!
