1. L’arvore Honey Butter Mask Pack &  2. L’arvore Aloe Nature Source Sheet Mask source: PinknBlossom sample thoughts: These masks were fairly basic and nothing really stood out. However, the Honey Butter one did smell really nice. These were both very hydrating. rating: ***

3. Farmacy Green Clean (50ml / 1.7oz) source: Sephora thoughts: I might have mentioned this before but I’m not a balm type of girl but if you do wear a lot of makeup I do find that it’s nice to use. I’ve heard a lot about this product and decided to try it out for myself. It was nice and felt really nice on my skin. My skin did feel clean, I mainly used this during the warmer months. However, I still think I like the CosRX Milk Cleanser more but they longer sell it. I do want to try this other cleansing balm by Juice to Cleanse, because it has 3 different consistency. This took me almost a year to finish, as I only used this during the warmer months where I usually had sunscreen on. rating: **

4. Missha Time Revolution Artemisia Ampoule (50ml+10ml / 1.69oz+0.33oz) source: PinknBlossom thoughts: This was okay. I’m not a big fan of Missha’s ampoules but they are decent. I don’t notice much of a difference to my skin when I use it. I got this in a set with the essence which I finished last month. The full size and sample combined took me about 2.5 months to finish. rating: **

5. Briogeo Scalp Revival (30ml / 1oz) source: Sephora Birthday Gift thoughts: I actually really liked this. This has always been on my list of to-try since I always seem to have scalp issues. I have them even more now that I’ve stopped using function of beauty shampoos and conditioners. This has really helped my scalp and it also smells really nice. I would most likely purchase this during the next Sephora sale. rating: ***

6. Native Deodorant: Mandarin & White Peach (2.65oz / 75g) source: Native thoughts: I can’t recall how long I’ve had this deodorant for. I have been using this for over a year almost 2 years I feel, and I really like it. I love the scent of this as it’s such a sweet and fresh scent. Sometimes I catch a whiff of this and wonder whats that nice scent and then recall it’s my deodorant. I have since repurchased Native deodorants but sadly this was a limited edition scent. They did have another peach scented one at the time I purchased, so I did grab that one. rating: ****

7. L’Occitane Gel Hand Cream: Citrus Verbena (30ml / 1oz) source: L’Occitane thoughts: I have found that the consistency of L’Occitane hand cream to be very varied. Some of the regular ones are really thick and then some are a consistency that I like. This was my first time trying their gel cream and I have to say I’m not a fan of it. It felt a little sticky and I felt like it didn’t really moisturize my skin that well either. But this does smell nice. rating: ** 

8. Nittoh Tea Royal Milk Tea Powder (310g) source: T&T Supermarket thoughts: This is my favourite milk tea powders. As I find that it tastes the closest to the ones in the bottles and has the perfect amount of sweetness and tea falvour. But nowadays I pretty much buy what I can find as it’s hard to find royal milk tea powder in bulk compared to single servings. rating: ***

Laniege Lip Sleeping Mask: Berry - I actually didn’t really like this and how it felt, and it sort of smells off now 6. Etude House Tear Eye Liner - I really like this for my waterline/ the inner corners of my eyes as it does give a nice shine but this has become goopy

Nature Republic Real Comforting Mask Sheet: Collagen source: Nature Republic (Korea) thoughts: “The ingredient of collagen helps the skin keep moist and makes the skin feel soft and radiant.” I have said before that I’m not really a fan of masks that are an emulsion type. I tend to like ampoules or essence ones more. I did enjoy using this, but it was not my favourite. I also found that it kind of left a layer on my skin which is nice for keeping the moisture in.  rating: **

2. Nature Republic Real Comforting Mask Sheet: AHA/BHA source: Nature Republic (Korea) thoughts: “Ingredients such as AHA and BHA smoothen rough, uneven skin texture by removing dead skin cells and sebum.” I do like this mask since it is an ampoule type. I did enjoy using this mask but the more I use it the more I’m unsure if I truly like it. I do notice a difference to my skin especially if I’m not constantly using a mask sheet. rating: ***

3. The Face Shop Herb Day Cleansing Wipes (70 wipes) source: Nature Collection thoughts: If you have been following for a while, you will know that I absolutely love these. I just love the way it smells and feels. It’s gentle and is a great refresher for the skin. It’s not the best if you have heavy or a lot of make-up on but great for light to no-makeup days. rating: *HOLY GRAIL*

4. Tree Hut Shea Sugar Scrub: Lychee & Plum (18oz / 510g) source: Target/ Walmart USA thoughts: I really like the scent of this and the scent does linger on the skin a bit. This feels like your typical sugar scrub, something that you can probably make at home. I found that the exfoliating power to be decent but I still prefer the Jungle Botanics texture more as I found it to be more exfoliating. I didn’t find anything really special about this scrub aside from the scent. I did buy a more expensive sugar scrub to see if there is anything different between a drugstore one and a higher end one, aside from the scent of course. I just checked their website and it seems like this scent is no longer available. I did purchase this a long time ago. rating: **

5. Cellborn Everyday Multi Toner (300ml / 10.1oz) source: YesStyle thoughts: I just checked and this product is no longer available on YesStyle nor is it on the Cellborn Korean website. This toner is said to help calm, balance the pH of the skin and strengthen the skin barrier. To me, this toner felt more on the basic side. I felt like this was made up of mainly water with some extra ingredients. This does have a light scent but very faint to the point that it was almost nothing. Hence, why I feel like this toner was made up of mainly water, also the first ingredient is water. I finished this in 167 days using it day and night. rating: **

6. Function of Beauty Conditioner (473.2ml / 16oz) source: Function of Beauty thoughts: For this formulation, my profile was wavy, medium, and normal. Hair goals were: color protection, nourish roots, lengthen, strengthen, and thermal protection. After going through 2 rounds of function of beauty shampoo and conditioner, I found that I’m not a fan of the conditioner. I found that it didn’t really do much and I can probably find one from the supermarket or drugstore and it would still do the same. Plus, I do like when shampoos and conditioners leave a light scent to my hair, which these do not even when I had the fragrance at the highest. I did not like this formulation/ the combination. I did purchase 2 batches last year during Black Friday with a different make up, but going forward I think I would only order the shampoo and not the conditioner. rating: ***

7. L’Occitane Extra Gentle Lotion Hands & Body: Verbena (300ml / 10.1oz) source: L’Occitane thoughts: I’m always on the fence with L’Occitane products. Sometimes I like it sometimes I don’t. But I always get drawn back to it, since it’s very accessible and there are deals from time to time. Anyways, this lotion was light weight and I did like it as a body lotion but I wasn’t a fan of it as a hand lotion. I found that as a hand lotion it wasn’t moisturizing enough. For the body, it absorbed easily in the skin and didn’t leave a sticky feeling afterwards. This took me 248 days to finish, I used it mainly at night but very inconsistent. rating: ***

8. Lagom Cellus Mist Toner (20ml) source: YesStyle thoughts: I wanted to try this brand since it won an award for one of their products, plus it’s suppose to be part of ‘clean beauty’. Hence, I grabbed a travel kit, which contained 4 of their products. The ingredients for this product is very good. I did find that this toner was similar to the Cellborn Multi Toner, however I do prefer this one more. I think it’s more so the packaging that has won me over. I like that it’s a spray format that way you can control how saturated your cotton pad gets more easily, plus you can also mist your face for a refresh. Then again you can always add any toner to a spray bottle. This does have a slightly stronger scent compared to the Cellborn toner, but still light in my opinion. It has a stronger scent of the oils that were used for the product. I did finish this in 15 days, or 2 weeks. rating: ***

1. Huxley Secret of Sahara Mask; Oil and Extract source: T & T Supermarket thoughts: This was very moisturizing when I first used it, however the last one I used felt a little dry. I think that’s cause I used it on the last day before it expired.  rating: ***

2. dear, klairs Supple Preparation Unscented Toner (3ml / 0.1oz) source: Wishtrend sample thoughts: I have used the regular one in the past and was not a big fan. I did enjoy using this but I’m not sure if I would try the full size of this. rating: ***

3. Jo Malone Body & Hand Wash: Nectarine Blossom & Honey (7ml / 0.23oz) source: Jo Malone sample thoughts: This was okay, nothing special in my opinion. I absolutely love the scent of this. It also made my bathroom smell lovely.  rating: **

4. Jo Malone Body Creme: Peony & Blush Suede (7ml / 0.23) source: Jo Malone sample thoughts: I found this cream to be on the thick side, a little goes a long way. This small sample almost lasted a week. It has a strong scent and lasts a while. The scent lingers on my bed sheets, making it smell oh so lovely. rating: ***

5. I’m from Honey Mask (3ml / 0.1oz) source: Wishtrend sample thoughts: I did not like this, I found it sticky and smelled kind of bad. I have found that I’m not a big fan of this brand, although the ingredients are very nice. rating: *

6. Tosowoong SOS Repair Cica Clinic Magic Patch (60 patches) source: YesStyle thoughts: I absolutely love these. This pack does come with 60 patches in 2 sizes, the 10mm and 12mm. rating: *HOLY GRAIL*

7. L’Occitane Dry Skin Hand Cream (30ml / 1oz) source: L’Occitane thoughts: I always forget how thick this cream is. This is not my favourite hand cream from them I do like their gel formulation more, also because it’s lighter and absorbs easier. rating: ***

8. Colgate Optic White with Charcoal (90ml) source: Superstore thoughts: I thought this was okay, nothing too outstanding about it. rating: **

9. DHC Eyelash Tonic (6.5ml / 0.21oz) source: Amazon.ca thoughts: I was using this for a while and then I sort of forgot about it. By the time I remembered it, it was already past it’s shelf life after opening. This was nice, I did see results but very minimal. At least I know this works and this is a more affordable option for eyelash serums. rating: ***

10. Sulwhasoo Concentrated Ginseng Renewing Water (125ml) source: Kmall24.com thoughts: I finished this in 131 days. I really enjoyed using all these products. I like the consistency of this and I found that it helped moisturize and nourish my skin. rating: ****

11. Sulwhasoo Concentrated Ginseng Renewing Emulsion (125ml) source: Kmall24.com thoughts: I finished this in 132 days. I got this in a set with the renewing water and a bunch of minis as well for about $81USD, which is an amazing price considering each of these do cost about $130CAD each. This was light and absorbed quickly and was easy to spread. rating: ****

12. Sulwhasoo First Care Activating Serum EX (90ml) source: Kmall24.com thoughts: I finished this in 127 days. I do like this and find that it really moisturized and plumped up my skin. I also found that it gave it a slight glow. I really enjoyed using this and I would love to try the new formulation. This is expensive but I think it’s worth it, seeing that it did last me 3 months. I used it every night using 2-4 pumps each time. rating: ****

13. Murchie’s Wedding Blend Tea Bags (10 bags / 26g / 1oz) source: Murchie’s thoughts: I really liked this in the beginning, however when I was finishing it off I noticed it was quite bitter. I’m not sure if it was because it was old or that I steeped it too long, but from my memory I remember steeping it for long and there was no bitter taste. rating: ***

14. Meito Royal Milk Tea (240g) source: H-Mart thoughts: This wasn’t as flavourful compared to the brand I’ve tried before in the royal blue packaging. But this one was slightly cheaper at $7CAD whereas the Royal Milk Tea in the blue bag is about $9-10CAD. I found this one also to be less sweet. rating: ***

Nature Republic Real Comforting Mask Sheet: AHA/BHA source: Nature Republic (Korea) thoughts: “Ingredients such as AHA and BHA smoothen rough, uneven skin texture by removing dead skin cells and sebum.” I haven’t used a mask sheet in a while and this has really relaxed my skin and also my mind a bit. Mask sheets are a great pick me up. rating: ***

2. The Face Shop Herb Day Cleansing Tissue (70 sheets) source: Nature Collection thoughts: I always go back to these cause these are just the best. I absolutely love these and find these remove light makeup quite well, but of course you would need something stronger if you have waterproof makeup on. These are a staple in my stash, and they are very refreshing as well. rating:  *HOLY GRAIL*

3. Whamisa Organic Flowers Foaming Gel (20ml) source: Credithink Gift w/ purchase thoughts: I used this a few times as a cleanser, and I was not a fan of this. It does have a strong herbal scent, plus I didn’t feel like it cleansed really well, I still felt like my face had stuff on it. I also used this with my PMD facial cleanser and it still felt like I had something. Hence, I used the wash of it to wash my face masks with. rating: *

4. Healing Bird 100% French Perfume Hand Cream: Grasse Verbena (10ml) source: YesStyle thoughts: These hand creams are okay. The scent of this is nice and refreshing, but not the most moisturizing hand cream. rating: ***

5. Davids premium natural toothpaste: peppermint + charcoal (5.25oz / 149g) source: Well.ca thoughts: I did like this toothpaste and have found that it cleaned my teeth well, but I don’t think it really helped whiten my teeth. rating: ***

6. Curesys Trouble Clear Needle Patch (9 pcs) source: YesStyle thoughts: I have been using these for a while and I always have needle patches in my stash now. These help with reducing bumps/ pimples that aren’t quite ready to pop or close to the surface. I’m currently trying this other brand and I feel like it’s more effective than these ones. However, these are still good for the price. I tend to buy whichever one is cheaper at the time of ordering. rating: ****

7. belif Moisturizing and Firming Eye Cream (25ml / 0.84oz) source: Nature Collection thoughts: This was my favourite eye cream before but I noticed that I started getting milia. This is moisturizing and it has helped firm my skin up. I mainly used this as for my smile lines/ laugh lines rather than around my eyes because of the milia issue.  rating: ***

8. I’m from Fig Boosting Essence (150ml / 5.07oz) source: YesStyle thoughts: This was alright, it is a little more viscous compared to some other essences. It does absorb quickly. I pat this into my skin 3 times in the morning and I feel like it’s not enough for my skin, especially during the cold season. I think I still prefer a more water like essence more. rating: **

9. Eunyul 70% Ethanol Hand Clean Gel (100ml) source: YesStyle thoughts: I really like this hand sanitizer as it’s not as drying because it does contain aloe. rating: ***

10. Muji Corn Tea (2.8g x 10) source: Muji Japan thoughts: I really enjoyed drinking this tea. This tea tastes like what you would get at restaurants. It’s a very basic and generic tea, that feels nice with a meal. Sadly, they don’t sell a lot of Muji food items here in Canada. rating: ***

1. A’pieu Strawberry Milk One Pack source: YesStyle Sample w/ purchase thoughts: This was my first time trying this mask and I have to say that this was very nice. The purpose of this mask is for brightening, which I did see some results but I feel like you would have to use it more to actually notice the difference. This smells amazing as well, literally like strawberry milk. The mask was also on the bigger side and contained a lot of emulsion, with some left in the packet to use on my body. rating: ***

2. The Face Shop The Solution: Nourishing Face Mask source: The Face Shop/ Nature Collection thoughts: “This face mask features a light-as-air sheet that feels soft and weightless in skin. The serum containing Propolis provides a nourishing solution to exhausted skin.” I found this to be alright. I’m finding now that the more I use this line of face mask, I’m not a fan. I do like that this mask contains propolis, but other than that this mask is not something I would lean towards. I also feel like this mask may have broke me out a bit as well since it does contain sodium hyaluronate. rating: **

5. LuLuLun Premium Kyoto Green Tea Sheet Masks (7 Sheets) source: T & T Supermarket thoughts: These masks have a light citrus-green tea kind of scent to them, which I love. The matcha tea leaf extract helps even out skin texture, loquat leaf extract helps tighten and calm skin, silkworm cocoon ball extract helps hydrate and firm skin. These masks were amazing especially when I used it consecutively, I did see a difference in my skin. In addition, it really helped heal/ soothe my skin and prevent any further breakouts. rating: ****

6. Healing Bird Hand Cream: Provence Lavender (10ml) source: YesStyle thoughts: I’m not a big fan of this. The scent doesn’t really smell like lavender, or that it’s a lavender scent that I have not smelt before. I’m definitely not a fan of this collection of hand creams. I did lose the Nice Orange one which I also found to have an odd kind of mixture of scents/notes in it. I still do like the formulation of these though. rating: **

7. Cotton Labo Cotton Pads (100pcs) source: OOMOMO thoughts: These cotton pads were not worth the $4CAD. I rather buy the Muji ones which were better than these. These absorbed a lot of product and weren’t strong either. rating: *

8. G9Skin AC Solution Clear Spot Patch (12 patches) source: YesStyle thoughts: These are definitely one of my holy grail patches. This brand has patches all in the 12mm size and you get 60 of them in a box. Since these have become my holy grail I won’t be including them in my future empties anymore, only when I have completed the whole box unless my opinion has changed on these. rating: *HOLY GRAIL*

9. Huxley Secret of Sahara Oil Essence; Essence-Like, Oil-Like (30ml / 1.01oz) source: YesStyle thoughts: I just really like this and the formulation of it. It really hydrates my skin and is great under my moisturizer. It is on the pricier side, hence I do have this on rotation. I finished this product in 28 days, using it every night and two droppers full each night. rating: ****

10. Colgate Optic White Renewal: High Impact White (70ml) source: London Drugs thoughts: This was a fairly new product and I decided to give this a go. I still haven’t found a toothpaste that helps whiten my teeth yet. This also didn’t fair well. It says it removes 10 years of yellow stains when brushing twice daily for 4 weeks which is what I did. And this did not help at all. If it did it was probably very minimal but I didn’t notice anything at all. I feel like I had better results with other toothpaste or even the regular optic white which is slightly cheaper. Overall, okay toothpaste but didn’t see any results. rating: **

11. Foreo LUNA play source: Beauty Event thoughts: I did own a Clarisonic along time ago and wasn’t a big fan of it. I debated on getting the Foreo before since it seemed like a better device than the Clarisonic plus no need to purchase brush heads. I really enjoyed using this little device as it was able to get the nose area quite nice as well. It says that it lasts for 100+ use and supposedly has a 1-min timer. One thing I noticed was that there was no 1-min timer. Secondly, I feel like it didn’t last me 100+ uses but it’s hard to say since I wasn’t using it every day. This did last me about 6 months though before it died on me. I am considering purchasing this now since I really liked how clean it made my face feel. I just don’t know if I want to get a mini one again or a full size. I was looking at the LUNA go at one point which is kind of pricey for something so small but it is the same size as the play and is rechargeable. rating: ***

12. dear, klairs Mid-Day Blue Sun Lotion SPF40 PA++ source: YesStyle thoughts: This is actually the older version that I have. It has been in my stash since Nov 2017. I decided to give this a go since it was expiring soon, only to find out that there was a new formulation coming out when I started using this. A lot of people have said that this sunscreen leaves a white cast, I didn’t notice one too much or more like there was but it went away after a while. This also took a while to absorb/ blend into the skin. I did notice that if your skin isn’t really hydrated it will highlight the dry areas and throughout the day will make the dry areas even more noticable, which I did not like. Overall, I wasn’t a fan. I heard the white packaging sunscreen is a lot better also the reformulation of this is suppose to be better now as well. I might give this a go again since it is a chemical sunscreen. I did use this for a good 3 months even after it has expired in July. I would say maybe about half or 2/3 of it is left but I just don’t like it, hence I’m going to discard it. rating: *

The Face Shop little Friends Face Mask: little Muzi source: gift thoughts: “This face mask with juicy orange extract creates a glowing complexion just like cute, little Muzi’s skin.” This mask smelt amazing! And I did notice that I had a slight glow the next morning as well. I really liked this mask I would definitely consider getting this in the future if I can find it. rating: ****

2. innisfree my real squeeze mask: broccoli source: gift thoughts: “This refreshing water-type real mask, enriched with rich vitamins from broccoli, leaves dull skin clear and supple.” I enjoyed the mask and it did make my skin seem a little more awake/ refreshed. However, the fit of this mask wasn’t that great for me. rating: ***

3. The Face Shop The Solution: Smoothing Face Mask source: The Face Shop thoughts: “This mask features a light-as-air sheet that feels soft and weightless on the skin. The serum containing Madecassoside provides a soothing solution to sensitive skin.” I always enjoy using these masks but after finding that it contains sodium hyaluronic I’ve been wanting to use it less. I do find that my skin is a softer and more supple when I do use this. There is also quite a bit of serum left in the package as well. What I don’t like about this mask is that it contains another layer of plastic, and I do want to try and avoid products that have a lot of packaging. rating: ***

4. Nature Republic Super Aqua Max Combination Watery Mask Sheet source: sample w/ purchase (S.Korea) thoughts: “The mask sheet delivers moisture and makes it look clear.” I didn’t notice much a difference in my skin. It was like an average mask sheet that would provide moisture. rating: **

5. Simplistic Wonder Essence (5ml) source: YesStyle Free Gift thoughts: This was my second go at this. I did enjoy using this and I did find that it gave my skin a good amount of moisture. The product does remind me a little of the Missha Time Revolution Essence. I didn’t detect a scent to this, but the product is brown in color. I might consider purchasing this in the future to see if it actually does anything for my skin, since it claims to be a product that is safe even for pregnant women. The price is about the same as Missha’s Time Revolution Essence on Yesstyle, hence I might give this a go when I’m done with most of essences. rating: ***

6. Huxley Secret of Sahara Scrub Mask; Sweet Therapy (30g / 1.06oz) source: StyleKorean thoughts: I brought this on my trip last year but mainly used it as a body scrub. It really smoothed my skin when I used it as a body scrub, on my face not so much a fan. This was really grainy, definitely not good for people with sensitive skin. The scent is like all the other Huxley products. I most likely won’t purchase the full size of this since I like the Jungle Botanics one a lot more as a body scrub. rating: **

7. COSRX AHA 7 Whitehead Power Liquid  source: samples w/ purchase thoughts: I don’t really see much of a difference, probably because I’ve only used it 3 times and once a week. rating: ~

8. Kate Somerville ExfoliKate (2ml / 0.07oz) source: Sephora Sample thoughts: I’m not a big fan of the scent but I gotta say that this product really works. It made my skin smoother and brighter just after one use. I would love to try this again in the future if I remember to do so. rating: ***

9. Purito Centella Green Level All In One Mild Pad source: YesSyle Free Gift thoughts: These were okay. I didn’t feel something immediate like the Neogen pads but I believe these pads are more for preventative purposes. They remind me of the COSRX ones in the red tub, but these don’t have as strong of a chemical scent, more natural. rating: **

Healing Bird Ylangylang & Green Tea Gardener’s Perfume Hand Cream (30ml / 1.01oz) source: YesStyle thoughts: I thought I wouldn’t really like this scent, but I actually really like this combination. The scent of ylang ylang and green tea is suppose to give off a relaxed feel to it. I do find that this is really good at moisturizing my hands and it is not sticky. It also absorbs quite quick. I got this in a set of 5, which is part of the Gardener’s collection I believe, which would be linked if it’s still available. I finished this is 68 days using it once a night. rating: ***

11. Holika Holika Freesia Blooming Perfumed Hand Cream (30ml / 1.01oz) source: gift thoughts: The scent is very sweet and floral, which I’m okay with. I do tend to like more fruity scents. This was a scent that I don’t mind but not something I would particularly choose if I had a choice. I can’t really remember how this cream was, as I used it mainly at work. rating: **

12. G9 Skin AC Solution Clear Spot Patch source: YesStyle thoughts: I thought I would try out different acne/ spot patches that are available, for cost and size wise. I actually do like these as they are thin and they work just the same as the CosRx ones. I like that these are all the same size and the ease of getting the patch from the plastic is a lot easier compared to CosRx. So far I’m loving these. And I think these are cheaper compared to CosRx, since I really only use 2 of the 3 sizes in the CosRx ones. rating: ****

14. Givenchy Dahlia Divin Eau De Toilette source: n/a thoughts: This smells very sweet and floral, yet it gives off a romantic and sexy kind of vibe, with a hint of sophistication. Not sure if that makes sense, but I’m sure the site I link will give a better description. This isn’t my kind of scent as I’ve mentioned quite a bit these past few months that I’m a fruit scented kind of gal. rating: **

15. Pyunkang Yul Essence Toner (100ml / 3.4 oz) source: StyleKorean thoughts: I do like that this product is an essence and toner in one. It does make packing skincare for travel easier. It layers great for the 7 skin method. It didn’t break me out either. I used this up in 40 days, about 5.5 weeks. So it’s a really good size for travel.  rating: ***

Sensodyne ProNamel Strong & Bright Enamel: Mint (65ml) source: sample thoughts: I was actually really surprised when I received this in the mail, since I didn’t sign up for anything in order to get it. However, I am subscribed to samplesource. Anyways I decided to use this almost right after I got it. I finished this toothpaste in 41 days. I was actually once again surprised that this was the full size product and it retails for about $6 - $8 CAD regular price. I really enjoyed the toothpaste and would consider getting it again as I did see my teeth get brighter/whiter, and it also felt stronger. rating: ****

17. The Face Shop Smile Foot Mask source: The Face Shop thoughts: I bought this on a whim when I was at the store one time. This was okay, it made my feet really red after taking off the booties. It did feel really weird afterwards, like there was some kind of powder on it. However it did make my feet soft for a few days. rating: **

1. The Face Shop The Solution Smoothing Face Mask source: The Face Shop thoughts: I haven’t used one of these masks in a long time. I do enjoy using this, but have found that it doesn’t really do much for my skin unless I’m masking more often. I’m starting to stray away from mask sheets these days. After doing my massive hoarding of masks I have found that I’m not using them as often as before, plus my skin care routine has been on-point to the point that my skin is in a good place. I don’t get that much break outs anymore, just here and there. These are accessible to me easily since there is a physical store but I don’t like how these mask sheets also have another plastic layer to it. I am trying to be a little more cautious of my plastic use, even trying to reduce my online purchases. So I don’t think I would be purchasing these again because of that and also because these do contain sodium hyaluronic which is an ingredient I am trying to avoid. rating: ***

2. Papa Recipe Bombee Honey Mask source: YesStyle thoughts: I still really like using these. Since these are super moisturizing, plus they give me a slight glow the next day. They also smell really nice. rating: ****

3. Nature Republic Real Nature Mask Sheet: Royal Jelly source: gift thoughts: “Royal jelly extracts provide nourishment and reduce wrinkles.” As soon as I opened the package I noticed there was an alcohol scent, lo and behold when I checked the ingredient list there was alcohol. I don’t think the aloe version had alcohol listed as an ingredient but it doesn’t really matter. These masks aren’t something I would gravitate towards anyways. rating: **

4. Nature Republic Iceland Watery Mask Sheet source: gift w/ purchase thoughts: “The mask sheet delivers moisture providing skin radiance.” The shape of this mask didn’t quite fit my face, plus it wasn’t that moisturizing. It does have a slight scent to it nothing too strong. Not something I would purchase but I do have a slight interest in the Iceland Line of products. However, I don’t know if I would every go and purchase it since there are always a newer/ less known brand that usually catches my eye. rating: **

5. The Face Shop Herb Day Cleansing Tissue (70 sheets) source: The Face Shop thoughts: I still really like these since they do remove pretty much all of my makeup. I also like that it has a light and fresh scent to it. I’m also trying to find an alternative to these, so that I can be a little more environmentally friendly and also save a few bucks. Hence, I’m going to use cleansing water and see how long that’ll last me compared to using these. I do use about 5-6 a week. So a big pack does last me about 2 months, which isn’t too bad. These do cost $14 CAD regularly, but I usually grab them at a discount. These would still be a staple in my stash but I probably would not purchase them as often now. rating:  *HOLY GRAIL!*

6. Troiareuke Cushion H+ C21 (15g) source: Troiareuke (S.Korea) thoughts: I really liked the A+ cushion and thought I’d give the H+ a try since it targets dry skin and is suppose to give a dewy look. However, I found that it didn’t do it for me. I felt like this actually made my skin a little drier and didn’t give me a dewy look at all; whereas the A+ one gave me a dewy look, hydration, and the coverage I wanted, plus a natural look. the A+ cushion definitely fits my skin type a lot better than the H+. rating: *

7. Urban Dollkiss It’s Real Hand Cream My Panda: Sweet Citron (1.06oz) source: gift thoughts: I love the scent of this hand cream, but it’s not a very moisturizing one. It does absorb very fast and is not sticky. It does say that it contains aloe vera extract and snail secretion filtrate but I would assume not too much since those are listed as the last two ingredients. Overall, it’s okay but not something I would go out of my way to purchase. rating: **

8. Jungle Botanics The Ecru Clay Soap (110g / 3.88oz) source: Wishtrend thoughts: I really enjoyed using this soap and I felt with the cloth that it came with it provided an excellent exfoliation. It gave an amazing creamy lather which felt amazing on the skin. I would definitely repurchase this, however this is expensive and I don’t really like the fact that the cloth isn’t biodegradable/ compostable but you can definitely reuse it for other soaps. I do find that I used a lot more soap when it was in the cloth compared to just using it regularly. This soap took me 37 days to use up and I paid about $18CAD, which was the sale price including conversion. rating: ***

9. Simplistic Wonder Essence (5ml) source: YesStyle Free Gift thoughts: This was very liquid, like water. It’s hard for me to say if it did anything for my skin, but I did enjoy using this and may be one of the items I would try in the future. I do have one more of these mini bottles to go through. rating: ~

10. Pyunkang Yul Lotion (7ml / 0.23oz) source: StyleKorean thoughts:  I did enjoy using this more than the ATO lotion, however I did find it a little thick and sticky after application. I did use this on my body. I’m not sure if this sample is the same as the one I’ve tried before, but I do think it’s similar. rating: **

11. Kiehl’s Creme de Corps (5ml / 0.17oz) source: Sample thoughts: The texture of this reminds me of the klairs all in one lotion, which I do like. I don’t know if it’s my sample but this did have a weird scent to it, kind of like plastic. The colour of the cream reminds me of hollandaise sauce/ mayonnaise. I did find it moisturizing, but not something I would gravitate towards. rating: **

12. Rocky Mountain Soap Co. Soothing Shampoo: Vanilla Coconut (100ml) source: Rocky Mountain Soap Co. Member Free Gift thoughts: I brought this along with me on my travels back in September. The scent is okay not my favourite scent. I’m not sure if it really soothed but on my travels I used it as a body wash and shampoo. Upon returning from my travels I just used it as soap to hand wash certain garments. rating: **

13. Huxley Secret of Sahara Essence; Brightly Ever After (30ml / 1.01oz) source: YesStyle thoughts: I thought I’d give this a try since I really liked using the oil essence. I didn’t find as good of a result compared to the oil essence, but I did enjoy using this. This is also slightly more expensive than the oil essence, but with the oil essence I found that my skin really glowed. I’m actually trying to find a cheaper alternative to the oil essence but I haven’t found anything like it so far. The scent of this is like all other Huxley products, the cactus scent but this one isn’t as strong as the oil essence. This took me 60 days to finish and I used it every morning. rating: **

14. Skin & Lab Dr. Color Effect red serum (40ml / 1.35oz) source: YesStyle thoughts: I heard some good things about this, hence I bought it since it’s not that expensive. I didn’t really notice much of a difference nor was it really moisturizing. It does have a fruity/ fresh kind of scent to it, and it’s not heavily scented. This took me 64 days to finish, using it every night.  rating: **

B.Kimins Laboratories Bio-Maple Bamboo & Rice Facial Polish (120ml / 4oz) source: Sephora thoughts: I really liked this when I first tried a sample but over time I found that it wasn’t that great. I feel like it works better if you were to use it more often, but I only used it twice a week and didn’t feel much of a difference on my skin. It also looks like this product is no longer being sold as well. rating: **

This one was really thick and took some effort to have it absorbed into my skin. I did not detect any scent from this. This was okay not something I would repurchase. rating: **

17. Dove dry spray deodorant: sheer finish (107g) source: Superstore thoughts: I used this as a shoe spray. My feet do sweat quite a bit especially during the summer months when I wear my TOMS. I have found in the past that my TOMS gave off a bad scent until I started spraying this in my shoes. This scent is very fresh and pleasant. rating: ***
