Keeping calm with the Oat-in Calming Gel Cream by Purito💖

Hi everyone! It’s been a while since I last reviewed a moisturiser, and I got asked yesterday which is my current favourite so I’m here to tell you all about it!

I’ve been using this gel cream moisturiser by Purito for the last few months, and it’s one of the main skincare products in my arsenal that I can turn to and rely on when my skin is sensitive, irritated or just wants a lightweight layer of moisture. My skin can be reactive to strong ingredients and so the reason why I bought this was to have something I could depend on to soothe my skin and keep it healthy without kicking up a fuss.

Oat seed water is the standout ingredient, and this is what’s meant to comfort sensitive and dry skins out there. I do think this isn’t hydrating enough for parched skin, but for normal or oily skin types that want something refreshing, cooling and gentle then this is perfect for you! 

It can be a little tacky straight after application, but this settles down and goes away after a little time has passed so don’t worry about a little stickiness at first!

I think now that higher temperatures are finally upon us, this would make an ideal summer moisturiser for both day and night. Drier skin types could layer this with SPF in the morning and facial oil at night for more lasting moisture, but every other skin type would probably find this enough on its own for stay-at-home days or as a night-time treat.
