Hi, I love your headcanons!! I know you just answered an ask about vergil being in love with dante's s/o, and I was wondering if you would be willing to do the opposite case where dante is love with vergil's s/o?
Thanks!!!! And thanks for reblog and like my stuff I love to see familiar faces of the notes in the inbox.Â
Iâm going to use Bubbly S/O of other promp for this one.
---------------
Dante didnât get it, how this sensible woman was in a relationship with that anal retentive brother of his. She was too⌠nice. Oh no, poor girl, maybe he should talk to her, maybe Vergil was blackmailing her or something.Â
But, Dante couldnât say that he knew his brother like the back of his hand, there were still things he was learning and curiously he was learning them through Vergil S/O.Â
Sometimes she said jokes so bad that they were good and Dante couldnât help but laughing while Vergil was stoic almost irritated and Dante felt bad for the girl and her smile that seemed to illuminate the room.
But she seemed to see something that he did not, when she hung on Vergilâs arm and told him he could smile.
Dante didnât see her much and tbh it was something he was grateful for. Because every time he saw her, he felt the need to protect her and although he said to himself that it was normal that the girl was like family, deep inside he knew that it was different.Â
Dante was flirtatious by nature but usually didnât get past that, it was almost a way to socialize and feel safe.
But with her there was a duality between feeling shy and almost reserved, and wanting to touch her in a casual way, laugh at her jokes and make her feel comfortable.Â
Maker her feel something for him overall.Â
Vergil was not very fond of public displays of affection and therefore she wasnât either, but when she took his hand and compared the size of his palm with hers, when she gently pulled the sleeve of his coat and when she spoke softly to him, saying something that was only for them; and Vergil softened and looked like a sick love teenager and she smiled.
Then Dante didnât know (or didnât want to) if he was jealous that Vergil had someone like her or that he had Her.
