Marzell has scars on both arms from an accident when he was young he covers with bandages, more to protect them from sunlight than anything.

Deryn takes on a lot of paper work from the Orcas, not all of it but still a lot. Started back when Gueldre left Xerx’s paperwork to them and other members, it became a habit, they still do it.

Alary climbs trees like a monkey, she got enough arm strength, it is how she plays with her plant companion Crocu.

Santiago “Santi”

Comes from a settlement situated even deeper than the deep sea temple, unless you count its inhabitants, there’s very little light down there, he is legally blind because of this.

He is missing his right arm and left leg, one was lost after gotten it crashed under a rock while the other was ripped by a shark taking a curious bite.

The strong mana region where he lives is filled with shipwrecks, any ship trying to sail in these waters ends up sinking or attacked by tornado sharks. Santi and others try to prevent this, giving the crew or the captain a warning but when the ship is full of nobles that refuse to listen to them, well then is a damn shame when their fancy clothes don’t help them float.

This is how he meets Lorelei and Bibi, he was trying to warn the two people on board of one random ship one night, scaring Bibi half to death and Lore then proceeded to punch him, knocking out plenty of his teeth. He was scared and impressed (and a lil lovestruck).

Peasant from the north-east from clover kingdom, at the age of 18 she tried for the magic knights entrance exams but didn’t manage to pass them, she decided to stay around Kikka to wait for the next exams or get a job there instead of going back home. There was nothing waiting for her at home anyway.

In said exams she meet Bibi, they both failed at the exams and, since Bibi was a local, they offered Lore a tour around. The two became good friends to the point where Bibi was comfortable enough to drag Lore out from the barn she was living in and into their small home.

Lorelei resorts to fight more often than flight, she’s aware of her temper and tries the best she can to channel her anger through a healthy outlet but sometimes it gets the better of her. For example scarring Bibi half to death.

Her short temper got Lorelei in trouble with the wrong noble reason why she ended up working on a ship in the middle of a storm.

Bibi Caro

Commoner from Kikka, they are the youngest child out of three, no parents around but the three managed to get by, they knew who to go to in order to get a good jobs.

Bibi attempted the magic exams after their siblings left Kikka, they failed after passing out during one of the final tests. Not long after the exams they found out their heart couldn’t handle the strain of them using magic for long periods of time, it was just too weak for it.

They stayed in contact with their siblings before leaving Kikka to help Lorelei, it took them months to get back in contact with the two and by then the two were running around like headless chickens trying to find their missing sibling. They might have gotten into a brawl with both Lorelei and Santi upon meeting them.

Bibi was the one who prevented Lorelei from accidentally killing Santi the night the two meet the fish man. Of the three of them Bibi tries to be the diplomat but Santi is ready to give them his peg-leg if they need it.

Maëlys

Oldest child, born before Lorelei and Bibi friendship with Santi developed into the polycule they are now, loves the sea the most out of all her siblings, she can always be found in a small boat admiring what the clear water lets her see. As a child, Maëlys meet a girl from the deep sea temple while sticking her head under water from the boat. Said girl is her wife now.

Aleli

Second oldest after Maëlys, of her siblings the one that wins during their board game nights, closest to her brother Acco. Loves going diving and collecting treasures from shipwrecks, be it shiny jewels or bones. It’s a hobby of hers to make something out of anything she finds, bones of big mammals make great tools!

Myles Salas

Ex-magic knight from the Grey Deers, left after all the pressures in his life became too much, almost drowns in the sea but got saved by Acco and Casper, who were hanging with Dalteri in a boat at the time. Woke up thanks to Dal poking him with a stick. Stayed around because he found himself relaxing for the first time in his life.

Casper

The middle child, stuck to Lorelei a lot as a kid (basically like a koalabear) before Acco was born. As an adolescent and adult he spends time near the shore like a sort of lifeguard also offering swimming lessons to whoever is interested

Second youngest, he calls himself a walking disaster, doesn’t know what he is doing half of the time but knows when its time to ask for help, tries very hard to not make the same mistake twice. He’s the closest to Aleli and Dalteri (goes to visit them to the capitol), has two children Piña and Granada.
