tw mentions of murder

You’re a murderer.

That was the first thing he learned about himself. They told him that was the reason he was currently in prison. That, along with the mark on his arm. They said she killed a muggle, someone who wasn’t like them. And her name was Rosalind. He tried asking for more details about the person he killed, yet, for people trying to prosecute him for her murder, they knew very little about her.

It took him two weeks after being released to finally muster up the courage to find out more about Rosalind in the outside world. Not knowing where to start, Isaac was advised by his father to look for her in the muggle papers which meant leaving the wizarding world. It took him another couple of weeks until he found a stall that still had the papers from days which Isaac specified. After that, it was only a matter of time for him to find out where she was buried.

It took him a while, but eventually, Isaac found Rosalind’s grave amongst the newer ones. He placed down the flowers that he bought earlier as he read what’s engraved on her tombstone. No memories came surging back. Isaac wanted to feel guilt. He did. But there was nothing there. 

The day had been long, and Alice had come home, and hidden away in her room. She was feeling sad, and was still avoiding Frank. Hearing the front door open, she did creep out, at least wanting to be a good room mate. Although she really hadn’t been a good one lately. She smiled at Mary. “I ordered pizza for tea.....” Was she trying to make up for being a less that good friend lately? Yes.

after counting down what felt like minutes in his head,  his knuckles just inches away from the wooden door frame,  benjys head shook before he lowered his hand.  “ this is stupid....”  and then he was pulling away from the doorstep completely.  his legs moving him back to the sidewalk and away from the apartment all together.  he felt idiotic for even being there.  “ what am i doing?  i shouldn’t be here. i cant-- ”  his mouth closed immediately.  brown hues going wide when he heard his name being called.  slowly, his body twisted around to face that familiar voice.  “ ---mary? ”  well shit.     // @marisolmac
