Marvis toothpaste is world's famous for their classic style and choiceof high-quality ingredients.
So I made this blog as a safe place to dump my current hyper fixations, and well, the past couple of weeks its Marvis toothpaste. This is an Italian brand of toothpaste that comes in a variety of flavors. I’m not trying to be an ad, know that this stuff is also really pricey and can be difficult to get a hold of.
I like tracking down bargains. I like collecting things, especially things that are discontinued. I love flavors and taste combinations and the ways they can sometimes stir the imagination. And while I love the taste of mint, especially peppermint, I think normal toothpaste is really sharp and unpleasant tasting and I’m not always motivated to brush my teeth like I should be. I’m also not going to pretend I’m not extremely pretentious at times.
Many of these flavors are pretty mild, even the sweet ones are closer to a fruit tea than a fruit punch. Most of them have a mint flavor that makes them feel clean, but the mint goes away as soon as you finish and you’re left with pleasant aftertastes. The toothpaste is also very THICK, its concentrated and you only need a little bit of it on the toothbrush. It also doesn’t have foaming chemicals.
So this is my review of the Marvis Toothpaste flavors:
"Marvis is awesome, made by Proraso in Italy, so glad Mr Pomade started carrying it." -Lawrence W. Rich, creamy toothpaste that offers a tingling sensation and removes plaque and tartar for a sparkling white smile. Cinnamon's exotic sweetness is enhanced by the refreshing taste of mint in a surprising, long-lasting aroma.Â

Toothpaste, a definitely necessity for everyday life in Modern Society. How did they live without it for so long? Was there a different form of “Toothpaste” or did they have special remedies for keep fresh breath? That’d be a good research paper, for another person, because I’m done with school for right now. A few months back I was browsing one of my favorite sites Mr.Porter http://www.mrporter.com, and I came across these special items. Not knowing if they were worth the money. Take a chance; I said. Ordered a tube, and fell in love! Seriously it’s a different feeling brushing with such a luxurious paste. Am I reaching for the stars here; not really! Now when I’m walking down the toothpaste aisle in the supermarket, and/or pharmacy I’m only purchasing those other brands as a back up for when I run out of Marvis. It’s like we’re friends! He’s got my back, and I got him! Now I’ve only tried the Silver flavor thus far,and I’m impressed. It’s up to you guys to let me know how the rest taste. Or will I beat you to the punch?

since studying graphic design i have become a packaging junkie. any product that is beautiful and well thought out, i instantly want it. non of this brightly coloured, bulky bullshit. i want the well thought out, stand out products that are DIFFERENT. i want the products that don't only LOOK good but TASTE and SMELL and ARE genuinely great. all else i have to say is that the marketing teams for these brands must adore me. and i wish i could work for them.
Marvis Toothpaste
I first discovered the Marvis line in a hipster general store in Toronto. Â I was very surprised by the variety of toothpaste flavours they offered. Â Aside from the usual mint and cinnamon, they have liquorice, ginger, and jasmine (as pictured). Â As usual, I caved in to curiosity and bought a tube of Jasmin Mint. Â I have to admit, a floral toothpaste was a bit of an acquired taste, but in time I really enjoyed it.
This was several years ago. Â I have become reluctant to make a habit out of buying expensive toiletries (well, depending on which way the wind blows). Â I decided to pick it up again around Christmastime as a treat, since I was able to source some here in Ottawa. Â Now that I have entered another decade of my life, I realize that I have to use products that actually work, not just taste or smell nice. Â Using Maris toothpaste this time around, I didn't feel like my teeth were being taken care of. Â My tooth sensitivity returned with a vengeance, and an exposed nerve has once again exposed itself. Â Also, my overnight guests hated it.
In conclusion, designer toothpaste is great and all, but in the future, I will opt for something that ensures me that it's good for me, not out to seduce me.
