Lore document also attached, and a small comment explaining the context behind each art piece below each one. though the lore document wasn't exactly initially made with the intention to be shared outside of the Rise of The Rebels team but since that project dissipated, I thought to expand on Martyrtale as it's own thing beyond just the Black Knight who was going to be the series' antagonist.

Normal Little Red Slicing Hood is a ghost possessing a doll or something, so in a similar vein, Martyrtale Red is an automaton with a doll-like appearance, she's a living-machine instead of a monster in this AU

the original line up, based off the designs given in the one animatic that I made that was going to be animated by the series animator but never saw the light of day

an unfinished drawing of Toriel and what is supposed to be a raven. I gave up on it.

Martyrtale Flowey and Toriel get along, while Toriel is unaware that Asriel and Flowey are the same consciousness, Toriel treats Flowey as her plant baby, and he still calls her "Mother"

this is from trying to flesh-Out River's design more, understand the layers and what she looks like underneath and stuff. she doesn't have the One Who Cannot Be Named's sigil because this was before I expanded on the cult enough to have that eldrich entity and also give it a general description on the design

Still can't 100% decide what Muffet's outfit should be. It keeps changing, but she's been working at the lab for centuries, so I suppose her bouncing around in roles and positions isn't too unusual

I wanted a Toriel design and didn't add it to the line up drawing, so I made it on a different canvas after the line up drawing,

Sans is short while his family is much taller, makes sense for him to be a little person.

I actually like their platonic relationship dynamic, it makes me regret killing him off in the story.

I had a shading techinque and learned a less manual way of doing it, so I quickly drew this to test it out.

I noticed Catty in Undertale had breasts which only QC also has as far as I am aware, (which implies she can lactate but that's a conversation for another day), anyway, cats have 6-8 nipples, humans have 2, 8/2 = 4 and the minimum amount of nipples a cat can have is also 4, so Catty got herself two sets of cleavage

Burgerpants' lore in this AU is kinda funny to be honest

After doing some lore refining, I noticed Muffet had an extensive amount of information on her and amongst other things it made sense for her to have survived Martyrtale's erasure from the Black Knight (MartyrTale Undyne) and her already established powers made this feasible, so here's Muffet.

It's kinda funny the other two characters that survive Martyrtale's destruction, Chara and Undyne, both have special names (The Martyr and The Black Knight, respectfully) but Martyrtale Muffet is just... Muffet

This one of her hanging upside down has her not wearing all her accessories, if you are wondering about that.

Wanted to try a more stylized body that's more accurate to her Undertale sprite, probably won't draw her with this body shape again, but you never know. She looks very vintage, also if you look closely she has spiderweb patterned lace on her blouse and spiderweb patterned 2nd hand set sleeves.

Chara's outfit got a redesign.

Tried to make Martyrtale Starlo/Northstar, I know I used a reference for it and then River person was a bit of an afterthought. Don't remember off the top of my head who made the reference used, but if you're curious, I remembered it was one of the first images that showed up. Either way, shooting a lead bullet through what is essentially gelatinous mercury in a humanoid shape isn't... Well, Riverperson has a genuine reason to not be scared.

The consensus whether monsters rot or dust in Martyrtale isn't 100% consistent since it was just whatever was convenient, so as I started to refine the lore, the rule made to avoid retcons is that death via a physical weapon or physical damage leaves a corpse, magic attacks leave dust? Why? That just seemed to be the most consistent explanation without retconning the original animatic and the animations vs the written works.
