Thank you both for requesting Lus!!! This is a super condensed run-down of him but as for other facts here goes~ While alive Marsellus had a borderline debilitating phobia of the dark due to trauma reasons, and wouldn’t travel outside past night without some sort of lantern at his disposal. That hasn’t changed in death, he lights candles when the sun goes down and gets more flighty at night, he’s a lot more docile/less agitated during the day Italian is his first language but he’s learned English and Latin in the 200+ years he’s spent roaming the land

He’s pretty much tethered to the spot where he and a hundred or so others died, he can travel a bit farther but in terms of energy, he’s at his best when he’s around that vicinity. Which is unfortunate since he hates lurking around there even if the debris has long since been overtaken by wildlife. 

He likes singing hymns even if he doesn’t believe in the words anymore. It can be ominous walking through the forest and hearing faint Catholic hymns in the wind tho Marsellus is fiercely protective of children but doesn’t particularly like them?? His gut says to keep them safe but everything else within him is neutral about their entire existence.

20. Does your character like animals? What are some of their favorite animals? Would they want pets? What about mythological creatures?

Since he’s pretty much bound indefinitely to one spot he’s grown very attached to the animals who come and visit. Rabbits, birds, and deer are his favorites, along with the occasional garden snake. He wouldn’t want a pet to look after, just watching them go about their business pleases him enough. 

30. When it comes to the arts (music, film, theater, etc), what does your character like?

Growing up in a religious boarding school really stifled his individuality so he mainly consumed only what was given to him: different church hymns, biblical texts, they didn’t have film back then and the only theatrical play he would ever see was based around the birth of Christ. He’s still pretty out of the loop, music and arts wise, but he likes to make up his own tunes by whistling and they sound nothing at all like hymns which he likes most of all.

31. Would your character be the kind capable of killing? Would they enjoy killing or only use it when necessary or, perhaps, refuse to kill no matter what?

I haven’t put much thought in the logistics of Beau & Ronny bein’ howlers tbh. I imagine the pack mentality is still deep rooted and they come from a long line of wolves but it’s less of a proud, honored lineage and more like…like imagine a possum mama carrying 15 babies on her back, that’s basically their version of being werewolves.

There are other families of lycans were they’re more known and infamous and come from “””good stock””” and then there are the sibs who are from the gullet of some podunk town in Al’bama and can shift, yeah, but also grew up looked down on in an economic sense + a mythical sense so it’s nothing they feel deserves bragging rights? At least not to Beau, he hides it well for safety reasons, but Ronny is more liable to use her brute strength as a party trick or something.

I think it’d be interesting to play into werewolves as a race (??) trying to better their image from the stereotype of them all being Wild and Dirty and Unkempt and not fit for an evolving society —the whole ‘We’re Just Like You’ assimilation tactic – which is why Beau and Ronny would be so scorned cus they are literally backwoods as shit and kinda fall into the stereotype from that alone, so their own fellow lycans would snob them. Also…they’re werewolves. Like that is, still not considered normal. So reg humans aren’t gonna be too comforted by their presence either. Which is why they’re (for the most part) faking being fully human and have done such since they were born.

MARSELLUS, I love’m, basically he grew up as an orphan in this Catholic boarding school some 200+ years back in Italy. It was a school catered towards grooming priests/disciples of the faith/etc, and (//// vague abuse mentions ////)some rampant abuse happened that was vile and longstanding enough to make him burn the place down as an adult with his perpetrators inside (and probably some innocent casualties too, a fire isn’t the easiest thing to manipulate). He went down with it, and his ghost haunts the grounds still centuries after.

The short descript sans any triggering talk: Marsellus is a spirit who’s usually benign but can turn unruly when intruded upon – like teens and adults hearing about the ghost story of the mysterious church burning and trying to hold poorly done séances on Halloween night or something. Over the years the story has changed and changed, and last he heard of a retelling he was apparently a slighted Nun who burned the church down because she loved a fellow priest and they couldn’t wed – or something. So he mostly spends his days watching animals and scaring off intruders in really poltergeist-y ways and not admitting that he’d really like to Pass On, whatever that even is at that point.

3. If someone makes them mad or upset, how do they usuallyreact? Does it depend on who they’re dealing with?

Marsellus is the personification of ‘don’t get mad, getbitter’. When he does reach his limit though there’s a lot of screaming andtears. It’s a cataclysmic event that leaves him feeling ashamed since emotionaltirades leave him so vulnerable.
